Strictly's Graziano Di Prima announces new venture away from BBC series

Strictly Come Dancing star Graziano Di Prima is the latest professional dancer from the BBC show to announce his own tour.

The 29-year-old Italian will follow in the footsteps of Giovanni Pernice and Kai Widdrington and his partner Nadiya Bychkova in touring the country away from the official Strictly Come Dancing Live! tour featuring this year’s celebrities. Revealing the exciting news on his social media channels, Graziano told his 234,000 followers it was “one of the moments he has worked his whole life for”.

His professional dancer wife Giada Lini will also join him for the special performances. Sharing the dates for his 2024 tour, Believe: My Life On Stage, alongside a montage of his life in dance so far, Graziano said: “My very own tour... I wanted to share my life and my journey in the only way I know... through dance.”

Gushing about his wife, who he married last year in a lavish ceremony in his hometown in front of 200 guests, he continued: “Beside me I will have my best partner in dance and in life, my wife and leading lady @giada.lini.” Calling on Strictly fans to buy tickets, Graziano added: “I hope to see you there I want to show that no matter what, where you come from and who you are, no one can hold you back from achieving your dreams.”

He ended the post by saying: “Swipe to check the venues near you and book your tickets now by clicking the link in my bio. I am so grateful to be able to share my story with you and I cannot wait to see you there.” His wife Giada was one of the first to comment on the post to support her husband writing: “So beautiful and more the fact that I will be your leading lady” to which Graziano sweetly replied: “Yes amore!”

Strictly stars and Graziano’s current celebrity partner Zara McDermott also showed their support. Former Love Islander turned documentary maker Zara commented: “So proud of you partner. Cannot wait to see you there!” Neil Jones said: “This is going to be goooooooood!” while fellow pro dancer Kai Widdrington wrote: “So excited for you brother!” While Johannes Radebe posted: “Happy for you” followed by stars and heart emojis.

Fans are also here for Graziano’s 32-date tour, which will kick off at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage on Sunday March 3, 2024 before heading to bigger venues in Glasgow, Cardiff, Peterborough, Oxford and London before the final night at Leicester’s Curve Theatre on Friday April 12.

One wrote: “This is a show that will really be from the heart. Graziano you are such a warm and genuine person whose smile lights up a room and your dancing is simply dazzling. Can’t wait to see it with my family.” A second fan posted: “This is wonderful! Congrats! And I’ll be in London when your tour is on in March so I’ll definitely be making a plan to support.” A third said: “Literally cannot wait to see you do this. Will be the most beautiful night” as a fourth added: “Already booked in Eastbourne. We are so, so excited you’re coming to our hometown!”
