The price of most things has risen substantially in the past few years from supermarket items to energy bills and it seems restaurant items such as Tom Kerridge's posh fish and chips can now be included in this list.
Back in June, the TV chef was criticised when the classic fish dish, served with a portion of around eight chips, was put on sale in Harrods for an eye-watering £35.
But now he's increased the price of the Market Day Fish meal after just four months, despite the previous backlash - and it now costs a whopping £37. Other items on the menu have also increased in price, including coleslaw and peas.
The fish comes deep-fried in "Kerridge's gluten-free batter" and is served with "chips, Matson curry sauce, tartare sauce and pease pudding." He also added an extra £1 to his Kerridge's Hand-cut triple-cooked chips - they used to cost £8.50, and now they're £9.50. This is the same new price for his Cornish new potatoes with herb butter which have also gone up by a pound.
Kerridge's minted peas and hardcore slaw were both £7.50, but they're now both £8.50 each. And some things have gone up by a lot of money, such as a whole lobster - which was £65, and is now £80. However, monkfish scampi has been reduced to just £42, rather than £49.

Kerridge was previously blasted when his new eatery in the posh department store opened amid the cost-of-living crisis and chippies struggling due to rising energy bills and short supplies.
The chef has two Michelin stars and runs eight restaurants including the Hand of Flowers and The Coach both in upmarket Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
