Darren Till has seemingly offered his support to controversial kickboxer Andrew Tate following his arrest last week.

Four-time kickboxing world champion Tate, 36, is currently spending 30 days in a Romanian detention centre after being arrested in connection with alleged human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group. Along with his brother Tristan, two unnamed others people were also arrested and taken to a police station in Bucharest for questioning.

Tate is under investigation by DIICOT, the Directorate for Investigating Organised Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT), with reports in Romania claiming he is being questioned in connection with allegedly forming an organised crime group which used girls in adult videos.

UFC star Till was amongst those to voice their support for Tate following his arrest, as he retweeted a post from journalist Sameera Khan that read "I stand with Andrew Tate" accompanied by the hashtag "Free Top G". Till also reposted the first tweet Tate put out after his arrest, breaking his silence by writing "The Matrix sent their agents". The UFC star showed his scepticism regarding the situation by also retweeting a post that read "Question everything".

'The Gorilla' indirectly payed homage to Tate during his UFC 282 defeat to Dricus Du Plessis in Las Vegas last month by walking out to the controversial kickboxer's 'theme tune' of Tourner Dans Le Vide by French artist Indila. The song has been used in viral videos of Tate and has become synonymous with the American-born Brit, despite him not knowing where it came from.

Romanian prosecutors said the four suspects "appear to have created an organised crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content. They would have gained important sums of money."

Tate and brother Tristan found themselves in hot water back in April as they were questioned after police were said to have found two females who claimed they were being held against their will at their home. They were later released upon investigation.

Tate became the most searched man online this year when his videos became viral for their controversial nature. The former kickboxer, who has been linked to fights against YouTubers Jake Paul and KSI, has amassed billions of views online with many labelling his views as dangerous and misogynist.

A spokesperson for Tate told the Daily Mirror on Thursday night: "We cannot provide any details at the moment regarding alleged reports that they have been detained; however, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can."
