A night time moisturiser that combats the seven signs of ageing and gives your complexion "that little extra glow" has had its price slashed in the Amazon Prime Day sales by 55%, meaning that instead of it costing £16.50, it's £7.44.
Well-respected and much loved brand Olay has seen reductions in a whole host of items, including its 7in1 Night Moisturiser, which claims to enhance the skin's surface and self-renewal process while you sleep thanks to its concoction of niacinamide, Pro-Vitamin B5 and vitamin E. And while many of us love to indulge in a skincare treat here and there, sometimes the cost of it is unjustifiable - but when it's half price, it's a no brainer.
Even more so when the product in question has been raved about and praised by shoppers as "beauty sleep in a bottle" thanks to its ability to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, even out skin tone, refine the look of pores, smooth out the texture of your skin, brighten up your complexion, restore skin's firmness and, of course, drenches your skin in a splash of hydration.
A skincare lover who was recommended this product by a friend of theirs who is a beautician saud: "I love this. I will definitely buy this again. I'm alternating with my Boots No.7 night cream which when used up I might go onto Olay full time. This was recommended by a beautician friend who does my facials. She said she uses it in the day too."
Another, who deemed the cream "irresistible" added: "Very nice, extremely happy. Thick yet not oily texture is great for my combination skin. The feeling of the skin in the morning after using this cream (and regular day and night cleaning regime - wash, toner, scrubber and cream) is amazing. Very soft, can't stop touching. Irresistible."
Kate Middleton swears by £19.99 rosehip oil that helps 'reduce wrinkles & scars'A third described it as "beauty sleep in a bottle" and said: "I love a multi-purpose skincare and they don’t come better than this beaut from Olay UK. This night time moisturiser is basically beauty sleep in a bottle with 7 benefits. It moisturises, skin which keeps it plump and smoothens wrinkles, it evens skin tone, minimises pores, hydrates and brightens skin. And it does all this while you sleep which leads to radiant skin come morning.
"It’s a great moisturiser to incorporate into your night time skincare routine."
Although it's worked for a large number of people in reducing the signs of aging, in others it's not had quite the same effect. One disappointed customer explained how it wasn't "good enough for getting rid of wrinkles on the face" while another said: "On this occasion, product claims to be 'fast-absorbing and non-greasy' proved to be false, it did not absorb into my skin at all and I had to remove it after 20 mins with cotton wool. This is not the type of quality product that I usually associate with Olay."
Olay is often regarded as one of the top brands when it comes to anti-ageing products and another of its products that has seen epic results in shoppers is its retinol moisturiser and night cream, that is packed with retinoid and vitamin B3. However, if Olay isn't quite your bag, L'Oreal's Revitalift Filler Hyaluronic Acid Anti-Ageing Night Cream (currently £11.98 from £19.99) leaves skin "hydrated" and "soft". For an even cheaper option - under a tenner kind of cheaper - NIVEA Q10 Energy Recharding Face Night Cream with Vitamin C is only £6.99 from Boots and improves skin within just two weeks. Beauty Pie's Super Healthy Skin Ultimate Anti Ageing Cream, £19, is also beloved by skincare buffs (with over 4000 reviews) and is described as an 'all in one facial' that'll help "regenerate skin".
