Worrying Man Utd rumour emerges from 'disgusted' dressing room amid Sancho spat

Manchester United players are NOT happy with Erik ten Hag, it has been claimed.

United won the Carabao Cup and finished third in the Premier League under Ten Hag last season but are struggling this time around. They've lost six games in all competitions - including both of their Champions League fixtures - and sit 10th in the Premier League.

Ten Hag is under pressure to fix things at Old Trafford, but fans are concerned he's lost the support of the dressing room. Former United striker Alan Brazil has revealed players "are not having the manager" over the way he's treated some of their colleagues.

Cristiano Ronaldo was axed by Ten Hag this time last year - despite scoring 24 goals the previous term - and Jadon Sancho is currently frozen out following a public row with his manager. It's unclear whether Sancho will ever play for United again.

Brazil made the sensational claim on talkSPORT. He told co-host Ally McCoist: "Do you know what Ally - and I know you've got to be careful what you report on - this is only what I heard from a United player who told someone we know very well.

"He said, the players are not having the manager, they're not having him, definitely not. By all accounts they're disgusted at the way he treated Cristiano and they say Sancho is a great guy who works his socks off, so I don't know who to believe to be honest."

McCoist responded by claiming the situation at Old Trafford is "still not right" before Brazil said: "No, he said the players aren't having him, they're not having him."

Ten Hag became a popular figure at Old Trafford after leading United to Carabao Cup glory in February, ending the club's six-year wait for silverware. Yet his time in charge has been overshadowed by the rows with Ronaldo and Sancho.

Ronaldo struggled to get into United's starting XI after Ten Hag was appointed in May 2022 and hit the headlines after refusing to come on during a Premier League game against Tottenham in October 2022. The forward left Old Trafford before that game finished.

Ronaldo then created further controversy by insisting Ten Hag "doesn't show respect for me" in a scathing interview with Piers Morgan. He was allowed to leave United in November 2022 before joining Al-Nassr two months later.

Ten Hag's spat with Sancho started last month, when he dropped the winger from the squad for the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal. The United boss claimed Sancho's performances in training weren't up to scratch, but the player rejected that view on social media. It's believed Ten Hag won't play Sancho again until he apologises for his public outburst.
