EastEnders viewers are convinced Zack Hudson could die in a horrifying Christmas twist amid a new storyline with Whitney Dean.
Fans of the BBC soap know that Whitney actress Shona McGarty is set to depart her role on the programme in the coming months, but for the meantime at least, her and Zack seem very settled and are keen to get the ball rolling when it comes to fostering. The pair tragically lost their daughter Peach, but have been adamant they want to be parents again.
Whilst Whitney has told Zack she doesn't want to carry another child, the pair have decided to look at the fostering route, and today, they welcomed an assessor over to their home as they kickstarted their plan to become foster parents.
However, the scenes tonight have left fans fearful that Zack and Whitney have a huge part to play in the Christmas murder storyline, when one man loses his life on Christmas Day. The Six women - Kathy, Stacey, Sharon, Suki, Denise and Linda - are all stood around the body, but did one of them murder the man, or did someone else?

She promised her things would get better, as she told the little one: "I'm sorry I've been so distracted since you got here. We haven't had a chance to get to know each other, have we? That's gonna change today."

As a clip was shown of Zack supporting Whitney, a monologue from Stacey continued as Zack was shown hugging Whitney, where Stacey said: "Something you're going to learn when you're older, there's a lot of bad blokes in the world. They want to scare you, they want you to be sad, but we don't let them ruin us, do we? We carry on with our lives."
(BBC)Some fans are now convinced this hints that Zack isn't the good guy everyone thinks he is and hints at a link to Christmas. One shared: "Only just watching but that was some very suspicious framing around Zack at the start of the episode," as a second added: "Yes I thought that was odd… it would’ve made more sense to focus on Whitney due to the “bad men” in her life (Tony, Rob, Leo)." A third also shared: "Wouldn't it have made more sense to have Whitney looking at a photo of Tony - unless it's foreshadowing..."
Giving their Christmas theory, another fan suggested of what's to come: "I had wondered if she might be the seventh member who kills whoever it is. As she's leaving in January. James also dropped a hint that he isn't the victim. But surely all the male cast would need to keep quiet about whether they survive or not. Misdirection, maybe?"
