Guests who attend the U2 concert at MSG's new 20,000-person venue next week will get a glimpse into the future of artificial intelligence.

The Sphere, MSG's latest venue in Las Vegas will introduce the "world's most humanoid robot" Aura, whose objective is to understand guests on a more "human" level.

The AI will be flanked by four clones. Programmed with extensive knowledge of The Sphere, Aura and her team will answer complex questions regarding the venue.

The robots are experts in the venue's unique engineering as well as how MSG incorporated advanced technology into the awe-inspiring concert hall.

Additionally, she's competent in the venue's layout and schedule making her and the clones able to give accurate directions around The Sphere.

“While I understand the most complex concepts of math and science — you remain a mystery,” Aura said.

“Your emotions, your humour and your relationship with technology require further study, so you must visit me at Sphere. I am excited to meet you and introduce you to the future of live entertainment at my new home.”

MSG officials are excited for guests to meet Aura. The company's CEO David Dibble said it marks a truly extraordinary step forward in technology.

“Aura’s role at Sphere marks a truly innovative application of robots, providing guests from around the globe with an opportunity to move into the future of entertainment and interact within a new technological frontier,” David said in a statement.

“Our vision with every aspect of Sphere is to transform the way people experience live events, and with Aura we are pushing the boundaries of how robotics can be used to enhance our guests’ journey through the venue.”

While Aura appears to be the crown jewel of Sphere, the venue contains other aspects of highly advanced technology. The HOLOPLOT, is an advanced, high-grade speaker system that exerts near-perfect sounds.

MSG officials say the speakers will sound as if every person in the venue is in the front row. Therefore, patrons sitting right in front of the stage won't go deaf and those in the back can listen with ease.

When you combine the immaculate speaker system with extremely high-def footage that's been tested by NASA in space, you get a venue that screams 21st century.

The concert which kicks off on September 29 will utilise the HOLOPLOT with a performance by rock legends U2; It's first four performances at Sphere are all ready sold out at almost £1,224 a pop.

“Probably the most significant change is the addition of the visual component,” Madison Square Garden owner James Dolan said. “The challenge to the artist is to create visual environments that are intertwined with their musical performance.”
