Meghan Markle was seen singing and grooving along to Eurovision star Sam Ryder in an unseen clip from the Invictus Games earlier this month.
The Duchess of Sussex joined her husband Prince Harry in Dusseldorf, Germany, earlier this month for the 2023 Invictus Games. And while the former actress was in attendance at the sporting event the Duke founded back in 2014, she was seen having a jolly time listening to a live performance given by Sam Ryder who placed second in the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest.
42-year-old Meghan seemingly knew the lyrics to singer Sam's song which is titled Mountain. Singing along to his performance at the Closing Ceremony event, Meghan seemed to enjoy herself as she grooved along to the track.
Sam, 34, was clearly loving that the Duchess knew his song and enjoyed it so much that he took to Instagram to share a clip. Sharing a clip of his performance, in the short video Sam could be seen walking up to Meghan, who was sitting in the front row.
In the video clip, Meghan was seen singing, clapping, and bobbing her head as the iconic Space Man singer sang his heart out. The Duchess was beaming from ear-to-ear as the singer approached her, with the moment caught on camera for all to see.
Oprah Winfrey snubs Harry and Meghan as expert claims 'the tide has turned'Sharing the clip on social media, Sam penned: "When singing your song with Meghan Markle wasn’t on your 2023 bingo card and you full on actual glitch 10 seconds later. Invictus Games 2023 what an honour. Pure embodiment of resilience, hope, process over prizes and courage over credit."
This comes after Prince Harry, who gave a moving speech at the Closing Ceremony of the Games failed to mention his doting wife, despite it being speculated that he would make a sweet reference to her. But ever the professional, Harry decided to leave the gushing over his wife for in private and instead paid his respects to the veterans taking part in the games that helps injured and sick military veterans.
