***THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM THE NEW SERIES OF NEIGHBOURS***
Neighbours has revealed Reese's true identity - as her connection to Erinsbrough is finally confirmed.
There had long been suspicions about who Reece - played by Mischa Barton - really is, as fans rushed to try and work out what the mysterious character was hiding and why she really was in the vicinity of Ramsay Street.
During a scene today, Paul reveal that he has some new silent partners at Lassiters as he chatted about the changes. Paul revealed: "The hotel's ticking along quite smoothly," before he was quizzed about the new investors' input in the hotel.
When asked if the silent partners let him do his own thing, he said it was going well, as he added: "So far, yes. I'll admit I was a little nervous when they first bought your mum's share, but no they don't seem to be too worried about sending anyone out from the US so. I think as far as investors go, the Sinclair family are the best thing that's happened to the hotel."
'My selfish neighbour stole our parking spot - my revenge means he'll regret it'It was then revealed that Mischa Barton's character Reece is part of the Sinclair family, with Byron horrified by the revelation.
"It's just a name, it doesn't change who I am," she told him as he scrambled to get dressed after spending the night. He fumed: "It changes everything. You're a Sinclair. You should have told me. You've put me in a really bad position. Why haven't you told Paul?"
"I'm not ready yet. I'd appreciate it if you'd keep this to yourself," she asked him, but at the end of the episode, it was finally revealed who she really was. In the clip for the next episode, Paul shared his fears that she is a spy for the family, but what other secrets might she have hidden, and is this the end for her and Byron now he knows the truth?
Mischa has teased Reece will find new ways to "irritate" Paul.
2Reece Sinclair, I just really like her as a character. I thought she was something that I would enjoy playing and was kind of written with me in mind. And the writers were very open to trying to Americanise it a little bit and make sure she was like, you know, appropriately outsider but also had her place in this world," she said.
"Reece will definitely find a way to irritate Paul, which is good. She's very mysterious. You don't really know why she's there at first and then it turns out there is a lot more to her being there than originally meets the eye. So it's not quite straightforward."
