YouTube star Zoe Sugg has revealed she is finally engaged to Alfie Deyes after 11 years of dating - and two years after they welcomed their daughter together.
The 33-year-old beauty blogger has been in a relationship with 29-year-old fellow YouTuber Alfie since October 2012 - and have now revealed they will soon become husband and wife. The loved up pair - who are expecting a second baby together - took to social media on Wednesday evening to share their happy news.
They posted a simple back and white video of themselves hugging and staring out across and ocean landscape together. Zoe - who goes by the name Zoella online - then uncoupled herself from Alfie to run towards the camera. With a huge smile on her face, she excitedly showed off an impressive looking engagement ring that was on her finger.
The video was shared with just a white heart emoji as a caption - and the happy news has gone down a storm with fans, firends and social media followers. Stacey Solomon was among the first to endorse the news, writing: “Congratulations.” While Dianne Buswell, who is dating Zoe’s brother Joe, told the couple she as “so happy”. A further fan added: “YAYYYY!! The best news. Huge congratulations to you both.”

Friend and fellow YouTuber Jim Chapman inadvertently outed the pair when she shared a snap of them kissing in the background of his social media content.

In the years since they were forced to confirm their romance, Zoe and Alfie have gone from strength to strength - taking the decision to move in together in 2014. They then welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ottilie - a female variation of the German name Otto - in August 2021.
And in July this year, the couple announced the happy news that they were expecting again - with a second baby due before the end of the year. Declaring the news via social media at the time, Zoe wrote: “Our family is growing! Little girl joining us in December.”
She has since been keeping fans updated on her pregnancy progress - and sharing highlights and advice relating to the various stages of pregnancy. Reflecting on challenges of her first pregnancy, Zoe wrote during an update of her first trimester: “Now it’s no secret that as an emetophobe, the first trimester with Ottie was the most challenging part of the entire pregnancy, birth and beyond for me.
“Although I was never physically sick with Ottie (I think I’m good at stopping myself which I’ve heard is common amongst those with this phobia) I had constant nausea & I just didn’t know if this pregnancy would be the same.”
Zoe and Alfie are something of a social media power couple - having both created huge online followings and being pioneers of the YouTube generation. Zoe's 'Zoella' brand made her a household name to millions who lived for her beauty tips, and even led to Forbes Magazine to decalre her the most powerful beauty vlogger in 2017.
