There are only a few hours left to claim a whopping 50% off the Galaxy S23 Ultra from the Samsung store.

Samsung has never been shy about launching surprise discounts on its popular phones, and this time, it's the turn of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Yes, this top-tier handset, launched earlier this year, enjoys a huge £630 off in the latest price drop.

Ahead of what's a huge day for rivals over at Apple and the launch of the iPhone 15, loyal Samsung shoppers have just hours left to claim hundreds of pounds off the Galaxy device, and here's how.

All shoppers who do two specific things at the online checkout will get the flagship S Series handset for half price, as it drops the tag from an original £1,249 down to £619. And it's pretty simple to do.

Starting with the biggest £530 discount, which is available to all new shoppers who have an older handset to trade in. The money-off does depend on the type of handset shoppers choose to trade but there's no catch when it comes to the brand.

That's because Apple's iPhone 14 Pro, the iPhone 14 Pro Max and its own Galaxy Z Fold 4 are a few of the handsets that'll get you the most amount of money off.

Not to worry if you don't have one of these pretty new handsets collecting dust at home as models including S22, Galaxy Note 10 and even the iPhone 11 Pro will still get you hundreds of pounds off the price. You can see what you'd get for your old handset online at Samsung.

Trade-in aside there's one more way shoppers can slash an extra few pounds off the price, £100 to be exact.

Samsung currently has a limited-time discount code, that when applied to the online checkout will take the money off the basket. All you need to do is enter SAVE S23 just before you pay.

All in all this will give shoppers a huge £630 off the device, one of the biggest price drops since its launch earlier this year. Even though it sits behind the latest Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 on the launch timeline the S23 range was only unveiled in February this year and is considered to be a huge iPhone 14 and Google Pixel competitor.

The flagship handset is fitted with a 6.7-inch curved screen and has a pretty impressive quad rear camera system not to mention its 200-megapixel sensor. Of course, it wouldn't be a new Samsung device without Qualcomm's rapid Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Other places to buy the S23 Ultra handset

At the time of writing Samsung's current duo offer seems to be the best money deal around, but it is only fully beneficial for those with an older model to hand in. For shoppers without a smartphone to hand over here are some other eye-catching deals on the market.
