Girls Aloud stars reunited for a lavish wedding, two years after bandmate Sarah Harding's death.

Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh showed off their strong bond as they posed for a snap together. The four members of the popular girl group were attending the wedding of their publicist, Simon Jones. In the picture, shared by TV personality Arthur Gourounlian, the singers had their arms around each other as they smiled for the camera.

Cheryl looked gorgeous in a sage green caped dress, while Nicola also opted for the same shade and stunned in a low cut silk gown. Nadine beamed in a white button-down dress and brown belt and Kimberley wowed in a white floral dress. However, many fans couldn't help but notice the sadness that bandmate Sarah was not with them.

Girls Aloud stars reunite two years after bandmate Sarah Harding's deathSarah died in 2021 after a breast cancer diagnosis

The singer died in 2021 aged just 39 after getting a breast cancer diagnosis. Her death was announced by her mother on her Instagram page on September 5 2021. The singer was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020, which had spread to "other parts" of her body before she announced her cancer was terminal in March 2021. Earlier this month Girls Aloud fans were left in floods of tears as they watched the hugely popular band perform their 2008 Tangled Up concert on BBC Two just before the two year anniversary of Sarah's death.

The band, which shot to fame after being created on Popstars: The Rivals, performed their Tangled Up tour 15 years ago – with their performance at the O2 Arena in London captured on camera. As viewers watched the old footage of the concert, they shared their grief and heartache over the singer's death. One wrote: "Sarah not being here anymore is just still so utterly mad. #girlsaloud," as another said: "#GirlsAloud still miss sarah a lot... she was the life of the group so beautiful and so talented too!", followed by two broken heart emojis and one heart emoji.

A third lamented: "Watching @GirlsAloud Tangled Tour on BBC2... I went to this actual show...I have the tour dvd!! Cannot believe it was 15 years ago... and now we've tragically lost Sarah. This tour brings back so many memories". Sarah's former bandmate Nicola, 37, paid tribute to Sarah last month and gushed over her "vivacious" friend and fellow singer. She reflected on if Sarah's death brought the group closer together and told Jordan Stephens on The Red Carpet Treatment podcast: "I think that what we went through as a five was massive in itself.

"That bonds you in ways where, even with your own siblings, you don't really get that 24/7. To go through something where you lost part of you is on a completely different scale. Life is so fragile. It's fragile for anybody, it doesn’t matter who you are or what you do." Following Sarah's death, the group reunited at a charity event last year to pay tribute to her legacy. They held The Primrose Ball in honour of Sarah which saw them raise over £1 million for The Sarah Harding Breast Cancer Appeal.

It was the first time all four members reunited in public following their split in 2013, where the girls made it no secret that they'd fallen out behind the scenes and several members had lost contact. But after coming together again for Sarah, the girls have remained in contact and are putting their efforts into campaigning for wider research into breast cancer. Kimberley told The Sun: "We are in each other's lives, we know what's going on. Obviously with everything that's happened, we're really as tight as we’ve ever been at the moment, you just have to lean on each other, don't you?"
