The wait is finally over - as the eagerly awaited final six episodes of London gang drama Top Boy dropped on Netflix today (September 7).
Subscribers have been waiting more than a year to catch up with drug dealers Dushane (Ashley Walters) and Sully (Kane ‘Kano‘ Robinson) as they fight to survive on the fictional Summerhouse estate in Hackney, London. A compellingly murky world of drugs, crime, violence and money, Top Boy has always proved a real winner with viewers and critics, with the much-loved series currently sporting an excellent 8.4 on IMDB.
So it's no wonder fans were eager to find out what happened after the penultimate season four ended with the shock murder of gang rival turned protege Jamie (Michael Ward) by Sully, which wrecked Dushane’s retirement plans.

The show originally began on Channel 4 in 2011, where it ran for two seasons before being dropped and later revived by Netflix for its current three-series run. In the latest trailer, which you can see above, Dushane and Sully are seen having a confrontation - with the latter telling his business partner to “step back” as he wishes to take over.
A synopsis reads: “Sully’s actions at the end of the last series have rewritten his business rules with Dushane. As new shared problems arise, everything they’ve built comes under threat from forces outside and within their empire.
“Can they coexist by the rules of the road they’ve lived by their whole lives in a world that is changing before them? Or can there only be one Top Boy?”
