Molly-Mae Hague has treated herself to a pair of designer shoes that cost more than a thousand pounds - just days after fearing she will be targeted by thieves yet again over her extreme wealth.
The 24-year-old Love Island star was out shopping on Friday when she stumbled across a pair of Chanel heels - and it was love at first sight. The reality star - who is set to marry fellow Love Island contestant Tommy Fury, 24 - didn’t even care that fans teased her over the shoe design.
Molly-Mae was delighted to find the tan coloured, black tipped shoes from the iconic French fashion house. While the price point is an eye-watering £1,200 - with some fans saying they think the mini heels look like something a “mum” would buy.
Of course, Molly-Mae is a mum herself, having welcomed Bambi - the daughter she shares with Tommy - back in January. Taking to Instagram on Friday, the reality star shared her latest purchase for her fans to admire.
Uploading a video of her shoe reveal, Molly-Mae confessed: “Would’ve never thought these would suit me but I fell in love in the shop!” And when one fan joked: “It’s giving mum”, she replied: “I’m not mad about it” alongside a laughing face emoji.
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and TanyelAfter Tommy proposed to her in July, Molly-Mae and her husband to be were slammed by fans after they took a private jet from Ibiza back to the UK. And other fans have criticised them for flaunting their wealth.
Reports earlier in the week suggested Molly-Mae is terrified criminals will target her after she flaunted her £600,000 engagement ring all over social media. The star’s house she shared with Tommy was ransacked in 2018 and they have £800,000 of belongings stolen when criminals realised they were away from their Manchester home to attend a London party.
The star is said to have hired security to guard her belongings. And it seems her retail therapy has come after Molly-Mae hinted she was left feeling down after she welcomed her daughter in January.
She explained in a new video confessional: “I came across a video which literally nearly made me cry. I was home alone with Bambi and she was only a couple weeks old.”
“She was literally screaming and crying, she had colic. I was trying to start vlogging again and I was really trying to rush myself back to chatting to you guys and being back present for you guys. I was just desperate to not fall off.”
She added: “I think seeing that little video clip made me really reflect on how ridiculously far I've come and how genuinely as weird as it sounds I wasn't sure I was ever going to feel happy again. That's how hard I found the first few weeks.”
