Kevin Hart got into a small debate with American football star Stevan Ridley. It didn't end well for the renowned comedian, who has now stated his penis looks like a thumb and that his testicles are swollen to the size of his fists.

The argument was sparked by a comment Ridley allegedly made to Hart as they hung out one day this week. Hart told his Instagram followers on Wednesday that Ridley challenged him to a 40-yard (36.5-metre) dash to see who was faster.

"Kevin, ain't no way you gon beat me," Ridley allegedly told the "Get Hard" star. But Hart, who said he's known for his speed, decided to take the challenge against the former NFL running back, who holds a reputation as one of the fastest players in the sport.

In American football, running backs, as the name suggests, are tasked with running the ball down the field as fast as they can. During the 2011 combine, a showcase event, Ridley ran 40 yards in about 4.65 seconds.

Sprinting ended up tearing apart Hart's lower body, ripping his abductor and lower abdomen. He's now relegated to using a wheelchair, completely unable to walk.

Those weren't the only physical consequences of the race on Hart, however. The 44-year-old's genitals swoll to nasty levels and "done got big as hell," he said in a new Instagram video posted on Thursday. "It's f***ing bad," the celebrity said.

He also took the opportunity to acknowledge the outpouring of love and support he received after his first post announcing his injury. Specifically, he addressed the jokesters in the comments of his initial post, like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who wrote: "I tore my adductor off my pelvis during a wrestling match. True story. You’ll be fine. You’ll grow a 3rd ball but you’ll be fine."

The Rock included a laughing crying emoji and also told the comedian to "heal up."

In Hart's latest post, he said he'd been receiving lots of calls from friends asking him why he had the audacity to try something so stupid, with some telling him: "Man, you supposed to be in shape."

His response was: "B***h, I am in shape." He followed that by saying that his injuries were the result of old age, not physical condition, and the fact that he had strained himself against Ridley, who is 10 years his junior.

Ridley, however, clapped back at that comment and said: "I SAW @TOMBRADY DO IT AT YOUR AGE SO I FIGURED YOU HAD THE JUICE TOO BIG BRO!"

Hart went on to say that after being out of commission for about six-to-eight weeks, he'd be "lighting [their] a**es up," the people who made fun of him or made snarky remarks about his condition. The post itself was captioned: "All of my friends can kiss my a** …. I wish y’all could hear some of these damn calls. All of a sudden everybody is damn doctor or a physician... F**K YALL MAN!!!!!"

In the comments of the newest post, The Rock added: "I said what I said out of love." Fellow commedienne Wanda Sykes said: "Look on the bright side! Now you can drop your own line of wheelchairs. HartWheels!"

The rest of the video contained yet more complaints from Hart about his condition.
