Mick Hucknall looked almost unrecognisable after tucking his trademark red hair under his cap during an outing with his wife Gabriella Wesberry and their sixteen-year-old daughter Romy.
The Simply Red frontman, 63, sported a blue polo shirt and jeans as he stepped out for an evening stroll with his family. The trio was seen taking their dog for a walk as they enjoyed some quality time together in London.
Romy looks just like her famous dad as she let her long auburn locks loose. She wore a 70s-themed T-shirt with flared jeans and a brown leather satchel, while mum Gabriella rocked a white t-shirt with matching trousers and a pair of trainers.
Last year, Mick admitted that contracting Covid-19 had left him suffering from heart palpitations and insomnia. "I’ve got long Covid. I go to bed and wake up in the night with my heart going 'ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom'," he explained to The Sun. "I just have to grab two or three hours sleep when I can."
Previously, the singer, who rose to fame in the 80s, denied bedding 3000 women after wild claims he slept with 3 females every day. But he had high-profile romances with the likes of Catherine Zeta Jones, Helena Christensen and Ulrika Jonsson.
Singer Mick Hucknall hasn't spoken to comic Steve Coogan for 20 years over quipIn a new interview with The Sunday Times, he said: "I have no idea. I don't put chips on the bedposts. I haven't a clue and have never thought about calculating. I realised I couldn't go on like this this, rolling out of night clubs at 4am every morning, week on week, basically wandering around like a playboy."
However, Mick found long-lasting love with his wife Gabriella Wesberry, whom he married in 2010. The pair tied the knot at Forter Castle in Perthshire, Scotland. The couple share one daughter together, Romy True, who was born in 2007.
The famous lead singer admitted that despite falling head over heels for Gabriella after they first met, he wasn't ready to settle down and knew they're been no point as he'd "just get divorced." He said: “When I was 24 and all my friends were getting married, I was an international singer."
But Mick said he'd felt miserable when he split from his now wife although the couple were later able to rekindle their romance later down the line. “I kind of knew she was the one the first time round. We were together in 1992", he said.
"I knew then, but I knew also that I was about to go on a world tour. So I thought I was doing the decent thing, but all I did was make myself miserable for the next five years. I was very very lucky to win her back.”
Mick says he now enjoys being a dad and the quiet life outside of music. He said: "I am a father and a husband. And I'm still having a good time. Very, very different, yeah, but I love it. I am a father and a husband. And I'm still having a good time. Very, very different, yeah, but I love it."
