The Watch Series 8 starts from £419, of course, this price rises depending on the GPS or cellular choice at checkout. Then there’s the bigger Watch Ultra, starting at £849, its much higher price is backed by its bigger display and size.
In a bid to get shoppers the best price on the standard model, we’re going to park the Watch Ultra for now, as a bunch of UK retailers have dropped their prices on the standard Series 8 model – John Lewis, Currys and Amazon all make an appearance.
So, after checking out the discounts for ourselves here are the ones we at Mirror Tech would recommend looking into. Starting with a deal for wearers set on splitting the cost, which is available to do so with many phone providers.

Looking for the best price for the Apple Watch Series 8? Wel, the Prime retailer (pun intended) is Amazon as it offers one of the cheapest rates we’ve spotted so far. It has reduced the Series 8 down to £369, compared to the £419 price tag in the Apple Store.
That's a £50 saving!

This discounted model is sold and dispatched by Amazon and features as one of their choice-backed products.
This is a great option for shoppers who want to split the cost into more affordable payments each month, and a huge plus if you already have an existing mobile plan with Sky Mobile.
If that’s the case you can add it to the same plan as your existing bill and pay for multiple devices under one plan. So, what are the prices?
Sky Mobile offers the 45mm Series 8 GPS model for just £14.30 a month, which is split across a 36-month plan (similar to most of their handset months too). With no upfront payment it’s a seemingly good choice for those who don’t want to drop hundreds straight away, instead looking to spread the cost evenly.
This is another offer for those looking to split the cost and add to an existing EE contract.
The provider’s prices and data options range between 4GB all the way up to unlimited. This price is on the cellular watch 8 model, hence the higher price range, and the retailer only offerr this for customers to pair with an existing phone plan.
The monthly costs mean users will split the cost of the device but also pay towards connecting their watch model to an existing iPhone plan, which has to be from EE.
It’s not an offer available to all shoppers but it’s certainly one for EE customers to consider.
Now onto our last retailer, aimed at wearers looking to buy the device outright. First, we have John Lewis which has got a pretty good discount across its Apple Watches. The standard model is reduced by , but for those wanting a cheaper option, there’s also the older SE for £259.
So, what’s the plus side to buying the device from John Lewis, despite the price drop? All shoppers here will get three months free Apple Fitness+, the subscription packed with workouts.
It’s not something you’d automatically get after the purchase though, you have to go and redeem it. Once bought John Lewis shoppers can head to to redeem the software for free, it’s a bit of a hassle but some would say worth it for a £29.97 saving on the subscription (Normally £9.99 a month).
. As an alternative, online retailer also has stock of the model for the exact same price.
