Vogue Williams has announced the arrival of a new family member, much to the excitement of her adoring fanbase. The Irish model took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal that she and husband Spencer Matthews had adopted a French bulldog, having searched to find a rescue puppy for 'a long time.'
In the first adorable snap of the update, the couple's eldest child, Theodore, can be seen cradling 'baby Bertie' in his arms as he smiles at the camera.
Elsewhere in the post, Vogue, 37, shared a video of the four-year-old boy and his little sister, Gigi, running towards the door where they are surprised by their dad with the precious dog. The clip also shows the family's Cavalier King Charles, Winston, chasing the adorable tots to find out what all the fuss is about. In another photo shared on the carousal, two-year-old Gigi is pictured holding Bertie while pulling a cheeky face.
"We have been looking for a rescue pup for a long time and found our beautiful Bertie from @manytearsrescue. They are the most amazing rescue centre and have been brilliant to deal with," Vogue captioned the heartfelt post. "Winston was in need of a pal and so far Bertie has been super chill." She also treated her followers to updates of Bertie's adjustment on her Instagram Stories, including an adorable clip of the children playing joyfully with the precious hound.
Vogue's fans were quick to react to the sweet post, with many praising her for choosing to adopt a dog rather than purchase one from a breeder.
Vogue Williams brutally brands ex Brian McFadden 'c**p' as she addresses split"Thanks for adopting and not shopping. Wishing you lots of happiness with Bertie," one impressed person wrote in the comment section.
"So happy you decided to adopt rather than shop," another said. "Hopefully more will follow in your footsteps. Bertie’s gorgeous."
Vogue and Spencer, who have been married since June 2018, live in the affluent West London borough of Chelsea with their three kids. Their youngest child, son Otto, was born in April 2022. After the birth of Gigi, Vogue admitted that she sometimes suffers from 'guilt' as the mother of two small kids.
"I spend so much time with my children and I'm really lucky that I get to be able to do that but even if I have a night out and I'm feeling tired and hungover the next day the guilt!" she told Mother & Baby magazine. Vogue was previously married to former Westlife member, Brian McFadden, between 2012 and 2017.
