Here's what time you'll be able to jump into the live Warzone event, which will play host to the global reveal of Modern Warfare 3.

Activision has already acknowledged that Modern Warfare 3, previously known as Call of Duty 2023, will be the next premium Call of Duty release, with the publisher also confirming the game's release date and that camos, weapons, blueprints and more will carry over from Modern Warfare 2. And following the release of a short teaser trailer last week, the global reveal of Modern Warfare 3 will take place through a live Warzone event during Season 5.

We don't know much about the live Warzone event, apart from the fact that it's called Shadow Siege, and the exact time it starts. But, we can make some educated guesses based on recent intel.

We streamed the Warzone live event on the Mirror Gaming YouTube channel, and you can check out the stream below to see more details of the live event and Modern Warfare 3 global reveal!

Live Warzone event time - when is the Modern Warfare 3 reveal

Activision has confirmed via its official Call of Duty X account (formally Twitter) that the Season 5 live Warzone event will begin today at 6.30pm BST / 1.30pm EST / 10.30am PST, with the patch containing the necessary updates for the live event going live yesterday, so if you already have the update downloaded, you should be able to jump straight in.

The live Warzone event will take place simultaneously on all platforms including Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC, and will take place on Warzone's big battle royale map Al Mazrah. Players who participate in the live Warzone event will have the opportunity to unlock various rewards including a tier skip battle token, emblem, calling card, vehicle skin, charm and a new weapon, the ARM13C sub-machine gun.

Based on some of the recent posts from the Call of Duty X account, and the direct Whatsapp messages that I have received after messaging its UK number directly, the Shadow Siege event is likely to take place around the Zaya Observatory POI in Al Mazrah, with it seeming likely that players will have to extract gas canisters from a number of locations around the POI, with the live event likely to happen beneath the observatory location itself following specific objectives being completed.

The Whatsapp messages show what looks like a big, locked door and an elevator shaft, with an additional message stating "this goes beyond the mission. everyone will see", which is likely to be in referencing the global reveal of Modern Warfare 3.
