Prince Harry's documentary, Heart of Invictus, is set to release on Netflix

The much anticipated Heart of Invictus documentary from Prince Harry will finally be dropping on screens soon, but not after one last shock. After Netflix tweeted out the official trailer, they deleted it, raising red flags for anxious fans.

Luckily, the streaming service posted the trailer again a few hours later. They didn't specify what caused them to pull the initial post. However, they finally gave fans a date to look forward to: August 30.

Netflix said: "Heart Of Invictus follows a group of extraordinary competitors from around the globe: service members who have experienced life-changing injuries or illnesses on their road to the Invictus Games."

In the new trailer, Prince Harry addresses the camera and says: "The Games doesn't focus on what causes the injury, but really about the recovery and how to be part of a community again."

Harry meets competitors in The Hague, as shown by the documentary makers. In the trailer, fans hear him say: "Everyone is going to struggle at some point."

Fans' fear that the project had been cancelled didn't come out of nowhere, either. Harry and Meghan's status in Hollywood has been dropping considerably. The pair's first Netflix project, their personal docuseries, received success initially and was a part of a multimillion dollar deal. However, the show was snubbed in this year's Emmy nominations.

Prior to the snub, they had seen failure in their Spotify endeavours when the music platform pulled Meghan's podcast, Archetypes. The fallout was damaging to their image with one executive even accusing them of being "grifters".

Now, Heart Of Invictus is the next project in that pricey deal with Netflix. It is Harry's chance to divert away from telling his own narrative and, instead, spotlight others. Plus, Harry and Meghan has signed on to produce a fiction project, too. The pair will again be working with Netflix to adapt a book called Meet Me at the Lake.

As for the status of their other projects, prospects have been looking grim. Harry's self help startup recently went through some major layoffs and accused him as not doing much for the team.

With Harry and Meghan's hands in a little bit of everything, their longterm success is still uncertain. Fans, though, can definitely expect to see this new documentary land its way onto their Netflix homepage soon.
