Kaley Cuoco has revealed that she has developed carpal tunnel syndrome in both of her hands from holding her four-month-old daughter, Matilda.

Taking to social media, the 37-year-old showed her followers her new hands-free workout routine following her diagnosis. She told fans that the syndrome "is a very real thing" and was seen wearing her usual gym clothes and a wrist brace on each hand.

"Hey guys, so some of you may know I have this, like, major wrist, hand injury from holding the baby. It’s a very real thing. Google it,” Kaley said in a video posted to her trainer Ryan Sorenson’s Instagram account. “And I think the only thing to make them better is for us to start working out without using my hands.

"And without using any body weight on my hands, which sounds crazy, and how can you get a workout like that?” she continued. “But Ryan and I are gonna do it today and we’re gonna show you that you can still get a workout, even if you are injured."

Viewers were then treated to clips of Kaley's entire workout, which included running on a treadmill, banded jump squats and even some light sparring. She showed off her fit physique as she performed the exercises wearing a tank top which read "HAPPY."

“And that is how you do a no-hands workout and still get your a— kicked,” Kaley, who was covered in sweat, said at the end of the workout. “So, you can always do it. No excuses.”

Ryan then added the caption: ""No Hands Workout' since having her baby @kaleycuoco has been suffering with what’s called Carpal tunnel syndrome, basically numbness and tingling in the hands and arms from a pinched nerve…mostly due to holding the baby,"

"So, other than laying off her workouts we just adjust and make them more about lower body and core work. Always finding ways to work around these things and most importantly no excuses! #carpaltunnel #noexcuses #momswholift #workouttips," he added.
