Rumer Willis has posted an image of herself with no clothes on as she praises her body which "made a human from scratch".
The 34-year-old took to Instagram to share the snap and a powerful message four months after she welcomed her daughter Louetta into the world. Rumer, who is the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, opened up on the changes her body had faced following her pregnancy.
Labelling herself part of the "hot moms club", Rumer began: "This body of mine made a human from scratch…and she looks and feels a little different now but I am truly in awe everyday when I look at my daughter and see her smile or look at her perfect face and tiny toes and the way her eyes light up when she wakes up in the morning and recognizes my face. She is the love of my life."
She added: "This body of mine that I spent so many years trying to shape and mold into what I thought was desirable or made me feel good in clothes, is a little softer and rounder and jiggly and different and that’s ok, more than ok it’s kind of amazing because I grew a person inside of it. This little being that I love with a fierceness and wonder that reaches new levels everyday.
"I know my body is still readjusting, but whatever shape it ends up in I am just grateful for all that it did and continues to do."
Bruce Willis diagnosed with dementia as family release emotional statementRumer went on to admit she was "grateful" for every twist and turn on her body, explaining that despite her changing shape of breasts, she feels "privileged" to be able to provide nourishment for her child. "They also make a fantastic pillow while we cosleep," she joked, before adding: "My hips and tummy, now softer and rounder, cradle my daughter in safety, warmth, and love."
Rumer concluded her post by saying: "The most profound beauty I’ve ever felt in myself emerges from remembering daily, to not reject these parts of me, but just embrace and give them such deep gratitude."
Many of her fans were quick to praise her words in the comments section with a number of followers sharing her sentiment. One user responded: "Perfectly stated. Motherhood is an amazing journey," while another commented: "Love this. And you so much."
Rumer's dad Bruce was pictured with his granddaughter in June as he continues to deal with his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. The Hollywood star was seen sweetly cradling the then-eight-week-old Louetta as they spent time together by the pool to celebrate Father's Day.
Rumer commented on her upload at the time: "Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life. His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful. Papa I'm so lucky to have you and so is Lou. Thank you for being the silliest, most loving, coolest Daddio a girl could ask for. Best Girl Dad in the game."
