Baldur's Gate 3 latest patch has arrived mere days after launch, with Larian Studios claiming to have tackled over 800 bugs in total including changes to dialogue and undergarments.

You can be anything you want in Baldur's Gate 3, that's the beauty of it. Although, in the world of the Forgotten Realms not everyone is treated equally, such was the case for male gnome sorcerers, who, until this week, weren't given underwear. With a game as large and expansive as Baldur's Gate 3, it's expected that some bugs will slip through the cracks, this has caused Larian Studios to release the game's second hotfix this week which has tackled over 800 bugs.

The Baldur's Gate 3 patch notes also reveal changes to the game's UI, fixes to engine rendering issues, a number of crashes, and bugs that prevented certain boss fights from progressing – huge stuff that has the potential to impact the game. There were also smaller changes made like the aforementioned gnome underpants, as well as fixing an issue that would cause certain genital options to clip through specific clothes. Larian also combated long awkward pauses in over 200 dialogue scenes – which were probably caused by the lack of pants or genital clipping.

We can probably expect patches and hotfixes to come fairly regularly for the game as more bugs crop up based on this being Larian Studio's second update in under a week. But for now, at least the gnomes can wear underwear while they Finish the Masterwork Weapon.
