Love Island host Maya Jama got flustered as Whitney came face to face with former beau Medhi during the show's 2023 reunion show.
Fan favourite Whitney - who is now exclusive with new man Lochan - narrowly missed out on being crowned the winner after Jess and Sammy took home the £50,000 cash prize in Monday's nail-biting final. As host, Maya asked Whitney how things were with Medhi now they are out of the villa - and if there was any unfinished business there - Whitney looked annoyed and said: "I don't care."
Shooting Medhi down after he wished her and Lochan well, Whitney hit back that it wasn't a thing with her and French bombshell Medhi as they were never in a proper relationship and hinted it was the real deal with Lochan. Fans took to Twitter to back Whitney, with one saying: "Medhi can f*** off respectfully #LoveIsland." Another said: "Is it me or did Whit just look really overwhelmed/anxious when she was asked about Medhi? Bless her #loveisland."
A third wrote: "No pls not Medhi," while a fourth chimed in: "Maya was definitely moving funny with their questions and Medhi had been going round podcast to podcast saying that he wants to rekindle with Whitney and trying to message the sister and all that. P**** don't get second chances."
While a fifth added: "Whitney is so unapologetically her. I love her so much #loveislandreunion #loveisland." Things started to go wrong for Whitney and Medhi when he kissed every single girl in the Heart Race Challenge, which didn't go down well with Whitney who he was coupled up with at the time.
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and TanyelAlthough it was a game, viewers watched as Whitney confronted the French lothario and ask: “Why are you kissing everyone?” In comparison, the only person to give Whitney a kiss was Zach. Making a dig at Medhi, Whitney asked Zach why he only kissed her and said: “Love a man that’s not for everyone.” Whitney later accused Medhi of not having any emotional awareness of the fact he is coupled up with her.
“You’re literally there emotionally for everyone, but when it comes to me, you’re literally so mean,” Whitney told him on the show. But Medhi didn't seem to think he had done anything wrong and told Whitney that if she came to him with an ‘attitude’ he wasn't going to address it. This riled Whitney up so much she got up and stormed off.
