Australian starlet Rebel Wilson has told of how she was rushed to hospital after a stunt went wrong on-set.
The actor, 43, was wrapping up the shooting of a new movie she has been working on in Savannah, Georgia, when she was taken to the hospital after getting injured. The star even shared a gruesome snap of her bloodied nose that needed stitches as a result.
Known for her stint as Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect, Rebel has taken on the role of a secret agent in new and upcoming indie movie Bride Hard. But filming and production didn't wrap as she wished, with Rebel ending up spending a short while in hospital and needing medical attention.

The blonde beauty is said to have spent a short while in the hospital (Getty Images for AFI)Rebel took to Instagram yesterday after snapping a photo of herself in the hospital. She showed off her bloodied and injured nose and explained how she needed to have stitches following the "stunt accident".
Writing a short message to accompany the gruesome yet candid selfie, the blonde beauty, who is a mother to baby Royce, penned: "Not the way I wanted to end this movie. Three stitches and in hospital last night after a stunt accident at 4am."

The stunt accident seemingly took place while shooting the new indie movie, in which Rebel takes on the role of a secret agent and the Maid of Honour for her best pal. The synopsis of the action-comedy states: "When a mercenary group takes a lavish wedding hostage, they have no idea what they are in for as the Maid of Honor is actually a secret agent ready to rain hell-fire upon anyone who would ruin her best friend's wedding."

This comes as Rebel juggles acting with being a doting mother to her baby daughter Royce Lillian. The Australian star welcomed her tot via surrogacy last November, which means this year the little girl will turn one. Rebel is all loved up with her partner Ramona Agruma, whom she went Instagram official with in June last year.
