Cardi B will no longer face charges after she launched a microphone into the crowd of her Las Vegas concert.

The singers lawyers, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, confirmed the news, insisting the will be no further investigation into the incident.

They told TMZ: "This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept., that as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi. On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept's diligent and prompt resolution of this matter."

Video footage showed the star outraged when a concert goer splashed her while she was on stage. One clip showed Cardi throw her microphone into the crowd, with the incident later reported to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police. Another had seemingly showed the singer asking fans to splash her.

A police statement told us earlier in the week: "On July 30, 2023, an individual came into an LVMPD police station to report a battery. According to the victim, she was attending an event on July 29, 2023, at a property located in the 3500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard. During a concert, she was struck by an item that was thrown from the stage.

"The incident has been documented on a police report and no arrest or citations have been issued. No further details will be provided at this time."

A second clip saw the singer saying "put that s*** in my p***y b***h", to which fans obliged and splashed her with water. However, when a fan tried to join in and splashed the water at her face Cardi B went on a tirade and threw the microphone at her.

She shouted 'I don't want to look Ghetto' at the fan, seemingly annoyed that she had potentially ruined her on-stage hair and make-up.

After the outburst, Cardi seemingly composed herself and continued the set. A day after they incident, fans mocked her when they noticed the singer's voice was still able to be heard on her track despite no longer having the microphone.

The lip-syncing similarities led to a frenzy on Twitter with fans comparing the two music acts. One Twitter user didn't find it surprising that Cardi B was caught lip-syncing, writing: "Cardi B caught pulling a Milli Vanilli! And y'all thought she actually sang on stage!" Other fans asked: "Does the audience get a refund for lip-syncing?"
