New footage from the Cardi B performance in Las Vegas shows her shouting at a fan before she threw water on her as she performed on stage.
The onstage outburst was in reaction to fan throwing their drink in her face, but video from the concert shows her asking the fan to throw water at her.
During her set, she encouraged the crowd to throw water at her. A video revealed her telling the crowd "put that s*** in my p***y b***h". Fans obliged and splashed her with water. However, when a fan tried to join in and splashed the water at her face Cardi B went on a tirade and threw the microphone at her.
She shouted 'I don't want to look Ghetto' at the fan, seemingly annoyed that she had potentially ruined her on-stage hair and make-up.

She abruptly stops, clearly startled, and throws her microphone straight at them. In another video, the fan can be seen repeatedly telling Cardi B sorry. Nonetheless, the venue security rushes over to the person in the crowd, potentially escorting them out.

Afterwards, Cardi B seems to catch her breath and recenter herself. She's even able to continue with the performance.
She told the crowd: "I don't want to look Ghetto b*tch. I said splash my p***y, not my face, b*tch."

This isn't the only time she's thrown a microphone (Getty Images for Fendi)The incident comes as part of an ongoing trend to throw items at musicians on stage. Bebe Rexha recently was hit in the face with a fan's phone. She was injured and had to wear protective glasses on stage. Someone else threw their mum's ashes onto the stage at a P!NK show and country star Kelsea Ballerin was hit by bracelets. A fan even went as far as to get on Ava Max's stage and slapped her.
This isn't the only time that Cardi B has thrown her microphone out of anger lately. At the end of another set in Las Vegas, she threw her microphone at the DJ.
Online, fans celebrated Cardi B's action, believing that someone had to stand up to those in the audience. They think Cardi B was a bad target to choose.
One fan wrote on Twitter: "Of all the celebs to try this with why would you pick cardi b???"
