Married At First Sight Australia star Sebastian Guilhaus was reportedly arrested with drug trafficking charges after a home raid.

Reports claimed that Serious and Organised Crime Branch detectives seized up to $90,000 worth of methamphetamine from his Adelaide home on Friday 28th July.

Almost one kilogram of the illegal drug, commonly called meth, was said to be the cause of "terrible harm to users and communities" in the Adelaide area, according to Detective Superintendent Billy Thompson, the officer in charge of the bust.

He described the 870g of meth found as "significant," adding that "methamphetamine causes terrible harm to users and to our communities."

Speaking to The Sun, Mr Thompson continued: "Those who traffic illicit drugs in these amounts do so purely for their own greed, they have no care for others."

Following the arrest, Sebastian appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court late on Friday and was reportedly charged with one count of trafficking in a commercial quantity of methamphetamine, according to The Advertiser.

Sebastian was reportedly remanded in custody and is set to appear for a bail hearing later this week. Before the raid, he was best known for appearing in season seven of Married At First Sight in 2019.

He was partnered with fan-favourite bride Elizabeth Sobinoff, before splitting a year later, in 2021. However, after announcing their split, Elizabeth revealed that the couple would be giving things another go.
