Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons has risked the wrath of Detroit Lions fans following a brutal putdown on Twitter.

The Lions are one of the many teams linked with Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, with his future at the franchise uncertain. The 28-year-old has been with the Rams since 2019 after joining from the Jacksonville Jaguars, and was a former fifth overall pick in the NFL draft.

Lions stars Jared Goff and Amon-Ra St. Brown have both sent messages to Ramsey as they look to help out with recruitment, with the Rams star responding with "we shall see". But Parsons has laughed it off online, making a savage remark towards Detroit.

In response to seeing St. Brown's plea to Ramsey, Parsons couldn't help himself on Twitter as he replied: "I’m sorry no one going from LA to Detroit." But quarterback Goff did exactly that back in 2021, and seems to be enjoying life in Detroit.

He's already made the move and is keen for Ramsey to follow, but it's St. Brown who has been the most forward so far. St. Brown has already said: "Jalen, if you can hear this, I know you played with [Jared] Goff before.

"Detroit might seem like a landing spot, my guy. Talk to me, talk to me." Ramsey has already been coy over a response, as he replied on Twitter to the increased speculation.

"Lol much love to @JaredGoff16 abd @amonra_stbrown… tried my hardest to get y’all in them playoffs this year," Ramsey tweeted. "I won’t comment on my future though. We shall see."

Ramsey is not able to speak about his future as he remains under contract with the Rams on a deal that extends through the 2025 season. But the Rams need to create cap space, and it's been suggested that Ramsey could make way as a result.

The Rams are currently projected to be $14million over the 2023 salary cap, and with Ramsey taking up $24.6m alone, many are claiming that he could be traded or released. A Super Bowl winner in 2021, Ramsey is certainly a vital asset to the Rams locker.

But his departure may be necessary with the Rams wanting to keep key members of their roster in other areas. It was a tough season for the Rams who put up a woeful title defence, but injuries were consistent, and they'll be looking to go again in the next campaign.
