Susie Hasler was browsing in Primark when she overheard a conversation between two teenagers in the accessories aisle that didn't sit well with her.
One of the girls was trying on a pair of sunglasses and her own friend was telling her that she looked 'terrible' - even grabbing passers-by to get them to agree.
Susie, who is a fashion stylist, couldn't stop herself taking action when she heard other shoppers backing the teen's pal and slamming the 'awful' sunnies.
She rushed to the girl's rescue and persuaded her to ignore the vile insults and negative vibes that were being unfairly cast on her personal fashion choices.

She felt obliged to interrupt and boost the girl's confidence after her pal was so mean (Mollie Rae Manning)Susie, who was in Bluewater Shopping Centre at the time, took to her Instagram account afterwards to share a message with her tens of thousands of followers. In the video clip, she said: "I was in Primark and there were two girls who were trying on sunglasses.

"One of the girls - and with friends like this who needs enemies - was getting passers-by to tell her friend how awful she looked. She was saying, 'Those glasses look awful, excuse me, can you tell my friend how terrible she looks'. I said, 'Excuse me, can I have a look?'
"She turned around and she was wearing high-fashion sunglasses, not to everyone's taste. And I said, 'I'm a personal stylist, and I think they look fab, and if you love them, you should get them'. At which point, the friend said: 'I think I'm going to listen to the personal stylist's point of view'.
"And her friend said, 'But I don't like them, I like the more classic styles'. I said to her, 'What about your friend? She likes these? She looks fab in them,' - so she went and bought them." And Susie, who runs Styled By Susie, had a powerful message behind her intervention.
"Be careful who you surround yourself with and remember just because your friend doesn't like it doesn't mean you don't have to buy it," she added. "Follow your own style intuition. And if I'm nearby, I'll tell them off!" Susie's followers were in support of her actions and flooded to the comments section to praise her.
"Love this. I bet she feels amazing every time she wears them now too. Well done you for stepping in!" one person said, while another commented: "Thank you so much for interrupting her and putting her in her place." And a third put: "She should of shopped for a new friend."
Susie added: "It is well known that women dress for other women - so it's important to build each other up. If a friend tells you she doesn’t like an item of clothing you pick up, it's likely she is influenced by her own taste and likes/dislikes.
"If a friend asks your opinion, give her the encouragement to purchase it and tell her she will look fabulous. If you feel it's not going to flatter her, tell her in a constructive way, while giving her a great compliment."
