Love Island star Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown revealed a couple was once forced to recreate their break-up after producers found out they ended their relationship off camera.
The former contestant rose to fame on the winter edition of the ITV2 competition and recently opened up about some behind-the-scene secrets.
One couple on an older season ended their romance during the contestants' "off day" (which isn't filmed) and producers weren't happy when they found out.
The producers had to "step in" to ask the couple to recreate their break-up on camera so that viewers could see everything that goes down.
"Yeah, we have to only talk about home life and random things off camera, and they now separate the boys and girls, because apparently a couple once broke up on one of the 'off days'," she explained.
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesSpeaking to Daily Star, she said: "Apparently they had to do it all over again the next day on camera so the viewers at home could understand what was going on."
Zara entered the last season of Love Island on day three as a bombshell and made a beeline for Tom Clare. However, she was quickly dumped from the villa when Tom made a play for Ellie Spencer instead.
After leaving the villa, she and former contestant Jordan Odofin briefly dated, with the pair confirming that the relationship is nothing more than a "friendship" in separate statements shared earlier this year.
Zara confirmed she is single when speaking to The Sun, as she explained: "I'm single, I'm living my best life.
"What a lovely boy, I can't fault Jordan - we were dating and like when you just realise that there is not that romantic spark but it's all good, we're friends.
"I want the best for him, he wants the best for me, we have a lot of mutual respect for each other."
She went on to reveal that she has received many flirty messages from famous figures after leaving the villa.
Zara coyly added: "A few eligible bachelors in the DMs but I'm focusing on myself right now, yes some famous people - but that was my life before, I had guys in my DMs before so that's nothing new for me.
"It doesn't excite me - it's about the personality and the heart, not the blue tick."
