Coldplay are close to agreeing to a Glastonbury return after organisers asked them to headline again.
Chris Martin and the group last topped the Worthy Farm bill back in 2016 and event bosses want them back.
The band's decision-makers know the new album Moon Music will be out next summer as sales and sure to soar with another epic live show.
Coldplay - who have sold more than 100 million records worldwide - announced a series of European stadium tour dates for 2024.
But they have left a gap in the schedule for Glasto and they're keen to go back 25 years after they first played the iconic festival, according to reports.

Chris attended as a fan back in 2017 and joined Kylie Minogue and Stormzy on stage during their sets.

As he took in the rapturous response from his legion of loyal fans, an emotional Elton said: "You make me feel so happy. I want to thank you for 52 years of amazing love and loyalty that you have shown me.
"It’s been an immense journey. I have had the best time, I will never forget you. You are in my head, my heart, and my soul. You have been amazing, an incredible crowd tonight.
"Thank you so much, Glastonbury, thank you so much England. I wish you so much health and happiness."
