Swedish actor Dolph's second marriage follows The Expendables star being diagnosed with cancer eight years ago - later being told in 2020 he only had a few years left to live.
The dad-of-two speculated earlier this year whether his past use of steroids for bodybuilding is to blame for his current health battles.

He explained how he went into remission but the cancer returned in 2010, and this time the Aquaman actor was told he only had two to three years left to live by one doctor. After getting a second opinion, Dolph is now receiving treatment that has resulted in the tumors shrinking.

Speaking on In Depth with Graham Besinger, the actor discussed the impact past steroid use had on his body, admitting: "I tried steroids back in the 80s, 90s. I don't know if that is something to do with the cancer, of course it struck me as it could have something to do with it. I thought about it, you always think you've made a mistake. I think maybe there is some connection between testosterone therapy and cancer."
Recalling her now husband's ill health, Emma added: "His mouth got really sore, his hands got sore and he couldn’t eat anything. That was a struggle, he was losing weight. We realized it was a lot worse than we thought, they started talking about tumors in the lung, stomach, spine, outside the kidneys."

With both Covid and a long road of challenging medical treatments, we've had to push our marriage plans many times. We felt it was finally the right time to celebrate love, life and happiness— in the land of the Gods."
Since becoming a married woman on July 13, personal trainer Emma has been sharing a slew of idyllic snaps from Greece on Instagram. Posting to her 31,400 followers earlier this week, Emma gave fans an insight into what her and Dolph have been doing since marrying in Mykonos.
The happy couple - who recently enjoyed a trip to London - have since moved on to Athens, with Emma sharing the update with Instagram followers on Wednesday. Ahead of the couple's wedding, Emma posted a photo of the pair soaking up the sun in Greece with the caption: "Tomorrow is the day. Mykonos [love heart emoji]."

"I didn't know why she liked me at all, but I suppose she saw something there. She didn't know about my acting career, she didn't know anything about me," the actor previously admitted.
The newlyweds made their red carpet debut in June 2022, when Emma joined Dolph and his daughters Ida, 26, and Greta, 20, at the premiere for Minions: The Rise of Gru. Speaking at the star-studded event, Dolph explained how he first met Emma "three years ago" but hadn't been able to attend a premiere before due to Covid.
