Celebrity Big Brother star Lauren Harries has to have an emergency operation due to a 'life-threatening spinal tear'.
The TV star previously underwent emergency brain surgery in April after falling ill with a mystery condition.
Lauren was later placed into an induced coma after she suffered painful seizures which caused her whole body to shake uncontrollably.
As of the time of writing, she has been in the hospital for over three months.
The 45-year-old's mother, Katie, took to social media to share an update on her condition.

"We were informed yesterday that Lauren has a life-threatening spinal tear," she said.
"She is having emergency surgery today, the first of two operations. This has meant she is in constant pain and unable to walk it could also lead to more bleeding on the brain.

Earlier this month, Lauren's mum revealed a previous spinal operation was unsuccessful.
Taking to Lauren's Twitter page, she said: "Lauren has had to have Spinal Surgery due to a split in her spine. This was very painful, It's worrying as the spine is the most dangerous place to have an operation next to the brain.
"Unfortunately the surgery was unsuccessful so drs are looking into other options. She's been in hospital now for over 2.5 months."
Her mum continued: "Her spine is concerning for doctors and she will be staying for longer. We don't know why or how this happened. She just wants to get home."

"The second is having my head shaved and the seizures. There are no words to express.

"And being in hospital for so long is hard, but thanks to all my stars for your love and support. I’m trying to walk and be me again."
A few days before, she shared a picture of Lauren in high spirits as she used a walking frame to walk around her hospital room.
"Lauren hasn’t had a seizure for a few days which is a great relief," her mum said.
"She still can’t walk without help. We are waiting for tests and her toes are in a lot of pain."
The social media post continued: "She’s a fighter and has been through so much.
"Thank you to everyone who is staying positive and praying for her. She loves you all."
