Stacey's stalker may lash out at her loved ones

Stacey Slater has been growing closer to ex-husband Martin Fowler in recent weeks but EastEnders fans suspect her secret stalker Theo may get rid of all romantic competition for good as his obsession with the mum-of-three deepens.

EastEnders fans know Theo is Stacey's secret client after the mum began work as a cam-girl to help ease the financial burden the Slaters were under but the matriarch is unaware the true identity of her mysterious client.

Theo has injected himself into the Slaters' life by helping Lilly with her school work but as Stacey grows closer with her ex-husband Martin, the teacher may be driven to drastic measures to keep the object of his affection close.

One EastEnders fan shared their thoughts on Theo taking Martin out of the picture and it seems the market trader could be in danger.

"Feels like as Martin and Stacey get close again Theo is going to get more and more jealous. I think Theo is starting to see himself as a father figure for Lily so it would make sense for him to want Martin out of the way. I'm thinking maybe Martin attacks him and Theo sees this as an opportunity to get him put in prison? I think James Bye is due to go on paternity leave soon so this could be his exit storyline," one Reddit user wrote in an EastEnders forum.

Another fan questioned Theo's intentions and added: "I still can't quite work out the Theo angle - Is he a lonely but harmless pervert? Is he a deranged and dangerous stalker? Is he both? I feel like if he was dangerous, there would have already been a serious incident in the previous school which could have landed him in jail instead of just fired and somehow able to be hired by a different school.

"But maybe things never got that far, like how Gray had never killed before Chantel (although he was violent and abusive, so maybe not the best example.) But yes I guess he could set Martin up for something. That happens a lot on the square when someone needs to conveniently go away for a while."

Will Theo lash out and harm Martin to keep him from reuniting with Stacey or force the concerned father to attack him in a twisted trap?
