Inflated Taylor Swift tickets going for thousands of pounds have been circulating on social media as third-party sellers list seated tickets for £1,475 seconds after the sale.

Taylor Swift fans have been left outraged at listed limited tickets going for thousands of pounds. It comes as official platforms Ticketmaster and AXS stagger online sales amid risks of bots and sellers looking to make a profit from genuine Taylor Swift fans - aka 'Swifties'.

One fan posted in outrage to social media to show a third-party seller asking for £2,950 (£1,475 each) for two first-tier seated tickets (section 105) at Wembley Stadium, tickets which we've seen range between £125 to £195 per ticket during the pre-sale.

Not only that but it's been posted alongside Wembley Stadium's seating plan, which looks different to Ticketmaster's official seating plan, so fans have been left confused.

The sections showing 'available' tickets differ from Ticketmaster's map, a warning to fans to always double check details before buying from third-party sellers. Information like 'main ticketholder names', shipping address and the seats are always good to see if they match up with tickets on Ticketmaster and AXS.

You can see this on the map uploaded to Viagogo (black and white) in section 545 which is available for buyers to select. On Ticketmaster, this section is fully shaded out as it sits behind the stage, hintin at a potentially restricted view.

It's left many fans outraged at the price as the third-party's sites prices around £1,200 more than those being sold on Ticketmaster and AXS.

Originally taking to Twitter, fan Sam said: "I'm sorry but how is this allowed?!

"What about actual real fans who have saved their money and then didn’t get an email."

Hiked prices by re-sellers have caused frustrations for many fans, especially for those who are yet to receive a unique access code for the general sale.

In the Twitter thread, other fans warned each other about the risk of buying the tickets. One fan said: "Pretty sure tickets can't be transferred and the ticket buyer has to be present at the concert so not sure how these tickets will be valid anyway."

It's thought people have used their unique access codes to get tickets and sell them on third-party sites for inflated prices.

On a separate site we also found single tickets being sold for as much as £3,314 each for General Pitch Standing, more than £3,000 more than the official tickets bought in Ticketmaster and AXS queues.

Another re-seller on Viagogo is selling a ticket for the June 22 show at London Wembley for £755 per ticket.

Another risk is buying through sites like Viagogo including Stubhub and social media messages, which means there's no tracking to see if that 'ticket' has been bought before.

Fans could end up paying hundreds for a ticket which has been bought multiple times by other 'unsuspecting' fans, and you'd only know once at the stadium barriers on the night.

So, how are Viagogo able to sell these tickets? Viagogo provides a platform for ticket holders to resell their tickets to the general public, setting their own prices.

Despite the tickets looking official there is no limit put on the amount of times a ticket can be re-sold on sites like Viagogo, this often leads to fans buying multiples of the same ticket without realising.

Viagogo has responded to Mirror Online, a spokesperson said: "The European leg of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour has been long anticipated. We’ve not seen anything like this since The Beatles and with tickets having only just gone on sale, demand is at its peak right now.

“Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee. Sellers on our marketplace may list tickets at high values when demand is high, but prices can change and tend to reduce over time.

"We recommend Swifties wait for demand to settle and check regularly for a listing that meets their budget. Tickets for Taylor Swift’s UK dates have already sold for as low as 172 GBP on our platform. Also, tickets listed at eye-catchingly high levels rarely, if ever, sell.”
