Married At First Sight's Matt Murray has shown off his new girlfriend following his split from Marilyse Corrigan.
Matt, 32, and Marilyse, 38, called it quits in March after six months of dating before trading blows on social media.
Marilyse accused Matt of 'controlling behaviour', but now he's moved on with new girlfriend, Jess Ward, and says he doesn't want to speak about MAFS again.
Posting a picture of the couple, who look happy in each other's company, Matt wrote: "She knows... She knows the pain I'm going through as she's going through the exact same thing with her mum.
"She's patient. She's understanding. She's supportive. I wasn't looking for her... I wasn't looking for anything... But She's here now and she's the best [heart emoji]."
Pregnant Married at First Sight star 'devastated' after learning sex of her babyMatt, whose mum has been battling cancer, asked his follows to not mention MAFS, adding "Please save your MAFS related bullsh*t for another day. This is our day."
The reality star's post comes after his ex Marilyse accused him of "controlling behaviour" following their split, telling OK!: "Matt likes to have all of your attention when you’re in a relationship with him. He was needy and couldn’t understand why I couldn’t be his all the time.
"I wouldn’t call them red flags, but there were times when he’d question me about silly things – things that were unnecessary – and then question me about them again. So I started feeling on edge around him."
Marilyse, who appeared on the E4 reality series before Matt, said she recalled one instance when she told Matt she didn't know what to wear on a night out and he replied telling her it didn't matter because she wasn't going to impress anyone.
Responding to the comments, Matt, who appeared on a different series of MAFS to Marilyse, said: "Whilst I acknowledge Marilyse’s feelings, I do not agree with her comments.
"There are always two sides to every story. I am very private so I don’t wish to share my side of the story publicly. I would like to draw a line under this now."
The former couple confirmed they were in a relationship in October last year after shocking fans with their announcement.
Matt shot to fame on the most recent series of MAFS UK, where he was matched with salon owner Gemma Rose. However, their "marriage" crumbled after it emerged he’d shared a secret kiss with co-star Whitney Hughes.
He and Whitney then re-entered the experiment with one another, but their relationship came to end after filming on the popular series ended.
Meanwhile, Yorkshire mum-of-two Marilyse appeared on the show in 2021 and was matched with former military man, Franky.
