An adorable video shared on social media showed the heartwarming gesture of a flight attendant for a child which resulted in the entire plane breaking out in cheers and applause.
Sharing the video on TikTok Laura Marie thanked Southwest Airlines after the experience she had with her daughter Jessa. Six-year-old Jessa was on her way back from a Make-A-Wish Foundation trip when the video was filmed.
Jessa can be seen at the front of the plane as one of the flight attendants makes their welcome home announcement. Sharing the video on TikTok, Laura wrote: "Southwest Airlines thank you for everything you did for Jess on our way to and from her trip.
"Every flight crew we had was amazing, but our last trek home, they took the cake. We can't thank you enough for being a huge part of our trip."
The flight attendant can be heard saying: "If we could have your attention for just a few moments, we have a very, very special guest on board here today that we wanted to recognise.

"Miss Jessa's six years old, about to turn seven soon, and she, are y'all ready for this? Has just beaten cancer and is now cancer free, how do you like that?"
Fellow passengers can be heard cheering and clapping as the flight attendant shares that Jessa is in remission. The camera pans round to show a busy aircraft full of people smiling and clapping at the heartwarming announcement.
The flight attendant continued: "Yes that is an amazing accomplishment, Miss Jessa. We want, from all of your crew at Southwest and I'm sure all of your fellow passengers, we want to welcome you home.
"We want to wish you a very healthy, happy, prosperous, and long life ahead. Alright, keep your head up, keep your chin up, keep fighting. It takes a fighter doesn't it? I'm glad you're here with us, thanks for flying with us, and welcome home Miss Jessa."
In a follow up video, Laura talked about the video, which went viral, saying "the last couple of days have been insane." She thanked followers for their support, saying: "I don't know what else to say but thank you.
"Thank you for loving that moment as much as we did. That moment was so healing for all of us and so thank you all for loving it as much as we did."
She went on to say: "I realised when I turned the camera to show the plane going all crazy for Jessa, that you didn't get to see Jessa and so I will show you her reaction."
Sharing a clip of Jessa at the front of the plane, a smile can be seen spreading across her face, though she remains shy, as her fellow passengers cheer for her. The young girl looks shocked that so many strangers were celebrating her accomplishment and with 163,500 likes, so are the people of TikTok.
