Genshin Impact's Storytelling Method quest gives you a solid reward, but you'll have to put the work in before you're even allowed to tackle it.
Genshin Impact is steadily approaching the Fontaine update 4.0 and you're going to want to stock up on Primogems so you can get those wishes in when the new Gneshin Impact characters drop. We've got siblings Lynette and Lyney to look forward to as well as Freminet. Anemeo damage specialist Lynette and – her older brother – the Pyromancer Lyney have been teased for a while and will make their debut alongside the brand new Fontaine region when the update rolls out.
One quest that gives you Primogems is Storytelling Method, which is linked to the 'Well, At least It Ended' achievement. However, to actually get the chance to do the mission in question you'll need to help out two residents of Inazuma City: Junkichi, and Shigeru who seek your help regarding a book. After that you'll be transported into a story to complete the quest.
Storytelling Method is a World Quest taking place in the Inazuma Region. However, you'll need to make your way through some daily commissions before actually being able to tackle this one.
The first Daily Commission you need to find is one titled Is This Novel Amazing? which can be found in Inazuma City. You'll have to find and talk to the NPC's Junkichi and Shigeru and at the end of the quest you'll be faced with a choice of who you want to side with between the two.
Why Star Wars Jedi: Survivor's six week delay is a good thingChoosing to side with Junkichi will award you with the Daily Commission This Novel Seems Problematic, or you can side with Shigeru to get the Daily Commission This Novel Seems Familiar. Don't worry though because both missions lead to Storytelling method.
However, most players find that This Novel Seems Familiar is the quicker option. This mission will have you talk to Junkichi and Shigeru again, who will request that you pick up three books for them and show Junkichi the correct one. Once you have all three books you'll have to give Junkichi the book Literature Club and the Storytelling Method quest will be yours to tackle.
Once the quest is unlocked you'll need to have a chat with Junkichi once again who will ask you to play out the events of a story. You'll then be transported to a special realm taking the appearance of a temple. Junkichi will narrate your quest through the realm giving you orders such as stealthily avoiding guards.
At the end of the realm you'll need to collect some intel hidden behind a tree. Once you take the elevator up to the room with the trees, you're going to want to head over to the right side of the room and check behind the middle tree for a glowing object. Pick that up and your mission is complete.
Report back to Junkichi and turn in your quest and you'll be five Primogems richer once you claim the reward from the 'Well, At Least It Ended' achievement.
