While we are longingly, patiently waiting on any more crumbs of news about Vanderpump Rules Season 11, we do have at least some exciting news to tide us over.
It has been confirmed that Ariana Madix will be competing on Dancing With the Stars Season 32. The rumours about this commitment have been swirling for a couple of months, but the official confirmation came Friday on Good Morning America. The rest of the cast for DWTS Season 32 has not yet been announced, but is anticipated to be revealed this fall.
Madix's appearance on the show is just one of many bold moves she's made during her revenge-era, post breakup with Tom Sandoval.
After nearly a decade of dating, Madix and Sandoval had a very public and dramatic split. Sandoval was cheating on Madix with her best friend, Raquel Leviss. The details of all the drama were hashed out during the Season 10 finale of Vanderpump Rules. Apparently, Sandoval didn't even do a good job trying to keep it a secret, considering he had sexually explicit videos on his phone.
When asked on Watch What Happens Live if she would take Sandoval back, Madix said: "That's not happening."
TOWIE's Chloe Brockett makes cheeky dig at Saffron Lempriere during filmingAnd thus began a very public journey of healing for Madix.
"It kind of feels like you're the most hated man on television right now," Andy Cohen half-joked to Sandoval as Cohen hosted the three-part Sesaon 10 Vanderpump Rules reunion special. And he wasn't necessarily wrong.
The reunion was filled with some fiery drama and airing out of grievances. Madix, though, arrived looking flawless in a hot, red look that you could argue was totally a revenge dress. In this break up, Madix has been coming out on top.
In addition to the gorgeous dress and DWTS news, Madix just keeps taking even more wins. In fact, Madix has landed a role in a movie. Lifetime has cast her in an upcoming drama, Buying Back My Daughter. The movie is about a mom who finds her missing daughter posted on an escort website, according to IMdB. It follows her journey and fight to get her back.
Madix will be playing a police office who, opposite of Megan Good, will be working on the case, according to Deadline.
As the dust settles on the "Scandoval," it looks like Madix will remain booked and busy for the foreseeable future.
