Supermodel icon Naomi Campbell has signed a huge new deal to work with fashion brand PrettyLittleThing.
The model, who is known for her trademark catwalk strut, will design a clothing range for the brand that will be released later this year at New York Fashion Week. In the past, Naomi has worked with brands including Burberry, Chanel and Prada, with PLT becoming her first fast fashion collaboration.
The collaboration between Naomi and PLT is one of the biggest for the brand and reportedly comes after years of friendship between the pioneering black model and former PLT CEO Umar Kamani, who stepped down earlier this year.
Naomi is famous for her supermodel career and for being the first ever black model to grace a British Vogue cover in 1988.
Her modelling credentials alongside three decades of designing have made her a lucrative win for the fashion brand, with bosses reportedly thrilled to have her on board.
Leonardo DiCaprio's chaotic dating history – Gisele Bundchen to teen Eden PolanA fashion insider told MailOnline: "This is huge, it's such a privilege for Naomi to be fronting her own collection with PLT.
"It has been discussed for years between Naomi and Umar but finally now their ideas have come to fruition and soon the rest of the world will see everything they have been working on.
"Naomi is of course a total perfectionist and has designed the range, ensuring every detail has been carefully executed."
The huge new deal comes after Naomi welcomed her second child this week with a secret pregnancy as she became a mum again at 53.
Announcing her son's birth, Naomi wrote on Instagram: "My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A true gift from God. Blessed! Welcome baby boy."
She added: "It's never too late to become a mother."
The supermodel is also mum to a daughter, who arrived in May 2021.
