Police seized more than £10,000 worth of Pokémon trading cards, Class A drugs and £5,000 cash during a raid in Nottinghamshire this week.
Officers searched the property following a stop and search of a man they considered to be acting suspiciously in an alleyway during a routine morning patrol in Bulwell, near Nottingham.
The search led the police officers to find Class A drugs, so they got a warrant and searched a nearby address where they found a very suspicious array of goods.
A large quantity of Class A drugs was found in the kitchen, including what police suspect is heroin and crack cocaine, as well as £5,000 in cash.
The Pokémon cards were worth £10,000, say police (nottinghamshire.police)The police also seized a glass display case containing a complete set of sealed Pokémon cards, which the police think were acquired illegally.

The popular playing cards are used in games and official tournaments to strategically battle Pokémon against your opponent’s, as the famous franchise has sold billions of cards globally and inspired several video games since its launch in the 1990s.
The trading cards have also become sort-after collectible items, popular even with these alleged Class A drug dealers who had a vast quantity of the cards in their possession - perhaps not what the City Knife Crime Team were expecting to uncover on their patrol.
Neighbourhood Inspector Paul Ferguson said: “There appeared to be thousands of pounds spent on Pokemon cards and their value is estimated to be over £10,000.
“We have seized these cards as we suspect this collection has been obtained through criminal activity.”
A 33-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were arrested on possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, and for acquiring or using or possessing criminal property.
Ferguson continued: “It also sends out a clear message to those suspected of peddling drugs in our community - they can expect to see not only their drugs taken away but their valuables.
“Heroin and crack cocaine destroy lives and we will continue to pursue anyone suspected of causing harm and misery to our local communities.”
