Tommy Fury provided one of the most memorable moments of Soccer Aid as the Rest of the World XI claimed glory against England.

Managed by Mauricio Pochettino, they took a 1-0 lead through captain Usain Bolt, before England assumed control though goals from Asa Butterfield and Manchester United icon Paul Scholes. But after the midfielder was forced off with injury, ironically after a clash with former teammate Nani, the tide turned.

Robbie Keane came off the bench to score twice for the World XI, and then Love Island star Kem Cetinay sealed the win. It meant a fifth straight win for the 'visitors', and disappointment for Harry Redknapp's team who were skippered by 2022 Euros winner Jill Scott.

But it wasn't just the goals that fans were talking about afterwards after Fury, who could play for the World XI side courtesy of the Mauritian heritage of his mother Chantal, wowed with his first touch. And it was England player Jack Wilshere who was left red faced because of it.

The 24-year-old picked up the ball wide on the right, and duly threaded a pass through the legs of the ex-Arsenal man. It was enough to prompt a brief cheer from the crowd, and fans also lauded the piece of skill online.

"Tommy Fury’s first contribution was to nutmeg Jack Wilshere. I love Soccer Aid man," said @AshBoio. Although @RyanHeatly paid a somewhat backhanded compliment, writing: "Tommy Fury has managed to nutmeg Jack Wilshere whilst also being the worst player I’ve ever seen."

Indeed, Fury did little else in the second 45 minutes, but could at least lay claim to providing one of the moments of the night. And the game would have at least tested his fitness, having been out of the ring ever since his win over YouTuber Jake Paul in February.

He was watched in the crowd by girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague, with a crowd of more than 70,000 packing into Old Trafford And by the final whistle, £14,619,005 had been raised for Unicef.

Viewers were left unhappy though after the voices of hosts Dermot O'Leary and Alex Scott were drowned out by the sounds of horns ahead of the game. And during the action, many watching were frustrated by the frequent loud noises, with the horns going off constantly.
