Health and beauty retailer Boots have been chucking out beauty boxes faster than an Aldi checkout assisant scanning your food shop in recent months. Not that we're complaining - quite the contrary, I've managed to stock up on a years' supply of skincare and cosmetics for way less than I'd usually spend.

And with each new launch, the value seems to just keep getting better and better, offering more and more products for even less money.

The purse-friendly hauls are perfect for topping up for skincare stash, or for gifting throughout the year, or simply to discover new products you wouldn't usually be able to justify spending on at a lower price point.

Brands that the renowned store has teamed up with include the likes of Elemis and Elizabeth Arden, but they've even branched out into boxes for men, too. Here's everything you need to know:

Boots x Elemis Premium Beauty Box

Boots currently has a money-saving beauty box that gets you , which works out at £11 per product. Considering one of them is worth £35 alone, it’s a massive saving for shoppers.

The features a mixture of full size and travel size products and is said to be worth £95 - but we’ve done the maths and it actually looks to be worth around £119, making a saving of £64, or more than 50 per cent on the RRP.

The is a great way to stock up on your favourite skincare products for less, while discovering new ones at a lower cost.

We tried the box for ourselves and loved the 200ml, which is worth £28. The purifying facial toner balances and softens the skin without the use of alcohol, so my skin wasn’t left feeling dry or stripped.

Infused with extracts of Lavender, Quilla Wood and Sweet Betty Flower, it smells stunning and has that spa-like feel that will put you right to sleep with the calming lavender. Find our full review of the box here.

Boots x Elizabeth Arden Premium Beauty Box

Teaming up with renowned cosmetics brand, Elizabeth Arden, Boots has brought shoppers a money-saving skincare haul of premium products for just £48.

The online exclusive beauty box is filled with five luxurious Elizabeth Arden goodies, as well as a treatment voucher, and one of the products featured is worth £70 alone.

The contents are worth a whopping £116.67, making a saving of around 59 per cent, and it’s the perfect kit to prep your skin for the summer months.

The hero product in this box has to be the £70 Ceramide Lift and Firm Night Moisturiser, which is a luxurious and rich night cream that made my skin feel like silk after just one use. Fairly fragrance free, the cream glides across the skin and feels immediately hydrating, which is perfect for dry skin girlies.

We’re also huge fans of the Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant here at the Mirror, so will always stock up wherever we can and this box is a great cost-effective way to do so, while discovering new skincare favourites from the best-loved brand. You can find our full review of the box here.

Boots x Indiyah Premium Beauty Box

The best money-saving beauty and skincare boxes from Boots (Boots)

Instead of collaborating with a brand, for this box, Boots locked heads with Love Island ’s Indiyah Polak to put her top beauty picks into an affordable beauty box.

The box contains £164-worth of high-end make-up products, but only costs £40, you'll essentially get £125 of free items.

The £40 Boots box is packed with the villa veteran's go-to products, including bombshell brands such as Fenty, HUDA Beauty, MAC Cosmetics, YSL, Eylure and Philip Kingsley.

Some of the cult beauty favourites include the MAC Magic Extension Mascara, and the HUDA Beauty Rose Quartz 18 Eyeshadow Palette – which alone costs more than the entire box itself, as it's worth £58.

Speaking about the box, Indiyah said: "I'm so excited to finally share this collection of my holy grail products that I loved during my time in the villa and still to this day! The box is filled with my go-to essentials from Boots that make sure I look slick and snatched no matter what."

Boots have warned customers that the expiry date on the Benefit voucher will have passed; however this is still redeemable until the end of June 2023.

Boots Premium Fathers Day Skincare Box

Now one for the gents - the high street favourite’s latest offering is a premium

The and contains a range of iconic luxury brands like Liz Earle and Elemis, with a total value of £122.36 compared to being sold separately.

The perfect gift for anyone who enjoys a bit of ‘manscaping’, the eight-piece collection contains for on-the-go.

The biggest draw inside this haul are the , and the full-size , alongside exciting additions from REN Skincare and Clinique.

One of our favourite products in the box is the Fenty toner. The Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum is designed to refine pores and reduce oil, and over time, reduce the look of dark spots. I occasionally suffer with blotchy skin and redness, and this double-whammy toning serum helps even my skin-tone and sees my skin feeling smoother.

The men’s beauty box from Boots rivals that of offerings from , with £141 worth of products, also featuring brands like Elemis, as well as Rituals and Bulldog. It costs £17 more, but shoppers do save a similar amount of money based on the value.

Boots x REN Premium Beauty Box

Specialising in high-performance formulas suited to sensitive skin, REN is known and loved for products such as the Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream and Ready Steady Glow AHA Tonic - and you get both in Boots' curated edit.

With an estimated worth of £122.50, the Boots X REN Premium Beauty Box contains four of the skincare label's best-loved products. As well as a full size version of REN's £40 best-selling moisturiser and a 100ml bottle of the glow-inducing AHA daily toner with 4.5 percent lactic acid (worth £18), the collection also boasts a full-sized Radiance Dark Circle Eye Cream (£44).

The box is currently listed at the full price of £122.50, but we’ve seen it reduced to as little as £40 since it launched, so it’s definitely worth keeping your eye on it on the Boots website for when it’s next on sale.

You can find the Boots x REN skincare bundle for £122.50 here.

Other beauty boxes that have proven popular at Boots in recent months include the Boots The Icons £30 fragrance box, which was launched shortly before Mother’s Day and sold out soon after. The Spring Skincare Edit, which contained around £100 of skincare for £25, was also a sell-out with shoppers. However, when you look at the Boots website, both boxes say ‘stock coming soon’ - so we could potentially see them arrive back in stock in the coming months.

Which is the best value Boots beauty box?

As to which Boots box retains the best value will be entirely based on personal preference and which products you're most likely to use. However, if you do happen to find yourself with an item you don't plan on using, it's always worth saving them up to use as stocking fillers at Christmas and save money that way.

But when it comes to cost and savings, these are the stats:

Which other brands are offering beauty boxes?

Debenhams have also got their own Skin Discovery Beauty Box which is worth around £200, but costs only £30. Bursting with the biggest names and must-have routine essentials, it boasts the season's top picks for beauty beginners and gurus alike.

From serums to moisturisers and nourishing lip balms, the box sees a number of big name brands like Lancome, Elizabeth Arden and Dr Paw Paw that will help you get your skin in check ahead of the summer season. We've often seen this reduced to £24 in the bast too, so be sure to bag it on offer for the best deal.

Alternatively, LOOKFANTASTIC have got their Summer of Skin Edit, which is worth over £130. The box retails at £40, featuring nine iconic products - including five full sized - to give you that summer glow from brands such as, Piz Buin, Sol De Janeiro, Isle of Paradise and more. You can read our full review of the haul here.

Marks and Spencer have launched their coveted The bag features no fewer than seven of which are full sized - however, you do need to spend £30 on clothing, beauty or homewear to get it at the reduced price.

We've share our top beauty box picks from various other brands like Face The Future and Selfridges here. Or you can shop the Boots Beauty Boxes on the Boots website.
