Jesy Nelson has shared a cryptic post about working with fakes in the industry amid Phillip Schofield affair news.
The former Little Mix star took to her social media where she spoke about "fakes" who "tear people down" before they jump on the "be kind wagon".
The post came soon after the 61-year-old presenter released a statement where he said he was quitting ITV as well as admitting to having an affair with a younger colleague.
Phillip said the relationship was "unwise but not illegal" as he admitted to having an affair while being married to Stephanie Lowe for 30 years.
After this, Jesy wrote about the "sad" industry as she slammed people for "tearing" others down.
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesThe singer said: "This industry is so sad. Full of fakes, full of people who can't wait to tear people down and stand on their high horse and blast it all over the news.
"It's not until something drastic happens that then everyone wants to jump on a band wagon of BE KIND. What a sad sad world we live in."
Shortly after, Jesy posted a selfie where she posed with her thumbs up as she added: "Btw guys I'm absolutely fine just expressing how I feel. Night night love you all."
Phillip told The Daily Mail : "I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning. Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship. That relationship was unwise, but not illegal.
"It is now over. I have therefore decided to step down from the British Soap Awards, my last public commitment, and am resigning from ITV with immediate effect expressing my immense gratitude to them for all the amazing opportunities that they have given me."
In a response, an ITV spokesperson said: "We are deeply disappointed by the admissions of deceit made tonight by Phillip Schofield.
"The relationships we have with those we work with are based on trust. Philip made assurances to us which he now acknowledges were untrue and we feel badly let down.
"We accept his resignation from ITV and therefore can confirm that he will not be appearing on ITV as had previously been stated."
