Iolo Williams will not be seen on Springwatch this series and his explanation is certainly worrying.
The presenter announced that in April this year, he had a stent fitted but has since faced further complications meaning he is not well enough to carry out his job.
Iolo, 60, took to Twitter to share his news with fans who rushed to the comment section to offer their messages of support.
In view of his 87,000 followers on the micro-blogging platform, he shared a selfie taken in hospital which showed him wires which connected him to an ECG machine to monitor his heart.

His post which has been liked over 4,500 times was flooded with messages, with Megan McCubbin commenting: "Get well soon, and rest up! I’ll do my best on the show… but come back soon."

Before a second typed: "Iolo, get better soon, lad! We were watching Borderlands last month and loved your ambles & stories through the Welsh Marches so much that we’ll be having our summer holiday there next year. (We also love your pronunciation of 'naked ladies' - aye, the plant."
Another commented: "Sad, we’ll miss you on @BBCSpringwatch, but very pleased to hear that @NHSuk have fixed you up! We hope you make a full and speedy recovery and that’ll you’ll be back to nature, running and cake(!!!) very soon."
A paramedic who treated the TV star penned: "Iolo, as one of the paramedics that cared for you during your hospital transfer. It was worrying when I first walked in and realised how bad your symptoms were. On arrival at the receiving hospital you had made a remarkable recovery which was a pleasure to see."
Iolo was set to co-present the new series which begins on May 29 from Purbeck Heaths in Dorset, which covers Hartland Moor, Stoborough Heath and Studkand as well as Godlingston Heaths alongside Megan.
