Sam Smith apologised to their fans after cancelling their Manchester performance mid-show and subsequently axing shows in Birmingham and Glasgow.
However, the Unholy hitmaker has revealed they were forced to cancel further shows after receiving a warning from their doctor.
On Sam's official Instagram page, they wrote: "Due to vocal issues during last night's Manchester performance, regrettably we will be cancelling the rescheduled Birmingham and Glasgow Sam Smith shows.
"Refunds will be available at point of purchase for all three dates; Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.
"A spokesperson said, 'Doctors have advised due to vocal chord injury, Sam must have complete vocal rest.'

The post ended with Sam signing off: "I'm so sorry," alongside a broken heart emoji.
Sam previously shared a statement on Instagram after cancelling their Manchester gig mid-show.
The singer apologised after stopping the concern four songs in, with fans baffled as Sam left the stage and the venue was plunged into darkness.
On Instagram, Sam explained they had "fought off a virus a few weeks ago" to enjoy several shows across Europe and had "felt fine" during soundcheck.
"During my third song, I noticed something wrong with my voice. I prayed it was just my voice waking up for the show but into the fourth song I could feel something was really wrong. I came off stage and have tried everything to get my voice back in gear but it won't," they wrote.
"I am honestly heartbroken I couldn't finish the show tonight for you all. I love you all. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Sam concluded.
Fans of the singer were disappointed but wished Sam well after they cancelled the Manchester performance.
One wrote: "Gutted [the] Sam Smith show has been cancelled after four songs. Truly devastating it was on its way to being an amazing show."
Another added: "What a massive shame! Take care Sam Smith you did sound amazing!"
