I'm A Celebrity star Fatima Whitbread made quite the mistake during a trial on Friday night, which left viewers completely baffled.
They weren't alone as hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly couldn't work out what was going on, as a simple counting challenge took a weird turn.
Fatima faced Myleene Klass and Jordan Banjo in the latest trial, as the top three competed for a place in the final two.
They faced a trial that relied on them being able to count to six minutes while enduring being covered in critters. They had to sit in a contraption that had their feet in boxes, their hands in hell holes and their heads in helmets.
The three celebrities were told they needed to hit their buzzer when they thought six minutes had passed, and the two celebrities closest to six minutes would go through to the final.
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesAs the trial got underway, snakes and critters were added into the helmets as the stars continued to count.
First to press the buzzer was Jordan, and even he was over the six minutes but had pressed before the seven-minute mark.
It was then another few minutes until Myleene pressed her buzzer, past 11 minutes and five minutes over the requested time.
Of course, this meant Jordan and Myleene were through, and that Fatima would be going home.
But Ant and Dec could not hide their bemusement as Fatima proceeded to stay in the helmet, clearly unaware that the six minutes were up and she was now heading towards being in there for 15 minutes.
As it got to 12 minutes and then 13, and then 14, Ant and Dec asked what Fatima was doing, clearly confused and unsure what she was counting towards.
As it hit 15 minutes the trial was automatically over, and it was time to free the stars from their confinements.
But even then Fatima was still counting to herself, despite crew members approaching her and removing the helmet from her head.
It was only then, 15 minutes and 10 seconds into the trial, that she began to press her buzzer and declared she was done.
She didn't seem to notice the fact the crew were ending the trial, never mind the fact she was well past six minutes.
Richard 'shuts up' GMB guest who says Hancock 'deserved' being called 'd***head'Grilled by Ant and Dec about her slow counting, she claimed she based it on running on her treadmill before confessing she may have overcompensated for the seconds.
Ant and Dec joined Jordan in mocking Fatima, before bidding her farewell as she left the show for good.
Confused fans took to Twitter, with one asking: "Does Fatima think it’s 16 minutes??"
Another said: "Wtf happened there," as a third tweeted: "How do you even get to 11 minutes has she fallen asleep?"
A fourth viewer said: "Did Fatima forget to press LOOOL."
I'm A Celebrity... South Africa continues all this week at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
