Graham Potter has the chance to kickstart his reign at Chelsea when the Blues face Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash on Wednesday.
The Englishman has struggled to stamp his ideas on his squad since taking over from Thomas Tuchel. And he has now admitted that his side remain a work in progress following a January transfer window that saw eight new arrivals.
That admission comes as Petr Cech claimed that he is enjoying playing ice hockey more than he did winning the Premier League with the Blues and star signing Mykhaylo Mudryk appeared to criticise Marc Cucurella. Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest Chelsea news.
Graham Potter has admitted his Chelsea side are still a work in progress as he prepares them to face Borussia Dortmund. The Blues have struggled since Potter took charge, but the Englishman has pleaded for more time.
“We have the capability to beat Dortmund but they are also a strong side with the capability to get a result as well. We have to understand that and go to Dortmund with humility, with respect, and try to get the result,” Potter said after Saturday’s draw at West Ham.

Chelsea legend Petr Cech has claimed he is enjoying playing ice hockey more than when he playing in the Premier League and Champions League for the Blues. He won both competitions during an 11-year spell with the Blues.
But since retiring from football, Cech has moved into his favourite sport of ice hockey. He now plays for semi-professional Chelmsford Chieftains and has claimed he is enjoying playing as a goaltender more than when he lifted trophies for the Blues.
"It's a completely different level of pressure. This is more fun than when you play a Champions League game for everything," he told the Daily Mail. "I still have that feeling in myself because I want to perform. I want to win. I hate losing."

Star Chelsea signing Mykhaylo Mudryk appears to have 'liked' a social media post criticising team-mate Marc Cucurella. The left-back struggled during the draw with West Ham on Saturday.
Ukranian international Mudryk grew visibly frustrated with Cucurella's performance at the London Stadium, particularly with his failure to pass to him. And those frustrations appear to have to his Instagram account 'liking' which ridiculed Cucurella's passing.
Mudryk's account then removed the like, hoping to avoid scrutiny. But supporters picked up on his move, though, sparking speculation of a rift between the talented attacker and Cucurella.
