No head coach has as many Super Bowl wins as Bill Belichick, but Andy Reid has already surpassed the New England Patriots veteran according to broadcaster Colin Cowherd.
Reid claimed his second Super Bowl title with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday after a stunning 38-35 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs were behind in the first three quarters, but just like they did against the San Francisco 49ers in 2020, they left it late to secure the victory.
The Chiefs scored on every offensive drive in the second half, but two stunning play calls on third down in the redzone saw Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore score crucial touchdowns late on. Reid has been rightly hailed for his tactical awareness, and Cowherd thinks he's the greatest coach in the NFL.
The Eagles put up a tough fight in Super Bowl LVII, but Reid and offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy found a way to expose them late on, and the Chiefs were rewarded with two near-identical touchdowns late on. Toney and Moore found themselves wide open in the fourth quarter, and both scored with their only catch of the game.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was awarded the Super Bowl MVP award, and Travis Kelce had another stunning postseason haul, but Reid and his team have been hailed for their play calls when it mattered most. "Can we all just admit that Andy Reid is the greatest play designer of all-time?" Cowherd said on The Herd.

"He's the best coach in my life off a bye, that's undisputable. He's the best quarterback elevator of my life.
"Belichick often coached out of fear. I think Andy Reid coaches more out of joy and fun. Those offensive plays in the redzone will go down as some of the greatest offensive calls in big spots.
"Those two offensive play calls, they brought them out at the perfect time. If these are field goals then it's a different outcome (in the Super Bowl). That is coaching at it's greatest."
Belichick has six Super Bowl titles as Patriots coach, two more than Chuck Noll who is second on the list with four. Reid may only have two to his name, but Cowherd still feels as though he's the best.
The Patriots were so successful with a certain Tom Brady, and the Chiefs could replicate their domination with Mahomes at quarterback. It's unclear how long Reid will stick around for, but he's not going anywhere just yet.
Reid was asked if he's consider retiring after winning his second Super Bowl, and told reporters, including Mirror Sport: "Listen, if they’ll have me, I’ll stick around." Reid is now 64, but proved on Sunday that he's still at his best while coaching.
The Chiefs have made the Super Bowl in three of the last four seasons, and still made the AFC Championship in the other. Reid has led the Chiefs to the postseason in nine of the last 10 seasons, and they're expected to dominate for years to come.
